I came into silverdale location and was looking up info on phone about knee arthritis that I have, I overhear the Maxx nutrition employee telling another customer about a product which described everything I could use for inflammation problems; I asked him to fill me in on the product and he was very helpful and knowledgeable, real polite too. Keep in mind that I’ve been going to this store infrequently before and this guy remembered me from before and what I’ve bought from them in the past. Over ten years ago this guy remember my name and my order!!! Amazing! To boot, the product he previously mentioned I get over ten years ago was decent and fulfilled my needs. I wish I had been taking these supplements all along though.

I have been a patron of both the Silverdale and Poulsbo locations since they opened, and have not experienced any of the negative things I’ve been reading here in the reviews. I am an older (currently) out of shape female, and don’t feel judged at all – in fact I’ve been treated kindly, with all of my questions answered, and then some. I know quite a bit about herbal supplements, and have had some wonderful conversations with the staff. I received compassion when my father was dying of cancer and I came to Maxx Nutrition in to purchase things to help him. I have never felt pressured to buy items, but rather have been asked if I needed help. When I’ve told the staff what I was looking for, products were suggested, but not pushed. Yes, it is a little expensive, sometimes I can find things for less from websites, but then I have to pay for shipping and wait a week for them to arrive, and often I need something now. I also get PERSONAL ASSISTANCE at Maxx Nutrition, which doesn’t happen on the internet. I find the staff to be quite knowledgeable, and I have been using alternative medicine for over thirty years, so I’m a pretty good judge if I’m being fed a line. I’m not. Shame on you insecure females writing in. Maxx Nutrition is not a big, impersonal chain operation, and I welcome stores that carry all the things they do with knowledgeable people to help. Please don’t run them out of town – we went too many years without a decent health and nutrition store.

I’ve been back several times and tried the Nutty Buddy like I said I would. It’s not my fav. Gotta stick with the fresh Delirio! I decided to add another star and make it 4 because they have chilled out with the high pressure sales over the last two months– at least to me!!! And it’s been pretty friendly and welcoming.

Amazing selection on their smoothies. Healthy natural and fresh original recipes. To top it off the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Love this place.

Love love love their healthy smoothies! I get the treehugger with extra greens. I can’t make smoothies as good as these even if I get all the ingredients haha they have a special touch! P. s. I miss Lacey!

They have delicious all natural smoothies and good prices. I like their all natural approach. They also have some hard-​to-​find items which is fantastic. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is how unfriendly the staff is every time I have been in there. They pretend I don’t exist, which isn’t good for sales. They could definitely use some new employees with a good bedside manner. I would rather spend my money elsewhere…

Haven’t had their smoothies but I did get my HCG drops at a great price and I must say they worked fantastically! Lost thirty five lb in forty days. The people there were really informative and polite. The store had everything I needed from a good brand of stevia that were in multiple different flavors to the vitamins that helped me through the forty days. This is defiantly the place I go to when I need any vitamins or nutritional products.

I’m a nutrition freak and like to discuss known and new-​to-​me products. It seems like they are pretty hardcore on the sales here, though, which is a turnoff. That alone wouldn’t have lost this customer, but factor in the patronizing attitude of some employees and ADIOS!

Organic smoothies with real fruit! I feel like that says enough. There isn’t a smoothie shop in the area that can compare. I feel like I should add that the taste will be different than your average smoothie shop. They are an organic based smoothie so you won’t get that sweetness that you are probably used to. Those places add about a half a cup of sugar to your smoothie among other not so natural additives.
I don’t do much shopping in the actual store part. I will say they have a very good selection of natural/​organic skincare, hair care and hygienic products.

The Silverdale store has knowledgeable sales people, but push way too hard. It feels like high pressure sales every time I’m there. The Poulsbo location is much lower key, and seem to carry the items I’m looking for in most cases. Silverdale many times is out of stock, or does not carry.

After driving by this place numerous times, I only just decided to check it out after finding out that they have a smoothie bar in addition to selling supplements. I’ve gone three times now and the same girl is always working the bar. She is super friendly and seems pretty knowledgeable about all the drinks. My first time there I had no idea what to try but I knew I wanted a green based smoothie. She told me the #8 Green Machine was the most popular and was very tasty. It was good but I wanted something a little less sweet. I juice at home and feel like I could have made something better to be honest. My most recent trip there the other day, I was in line behind a couple who were purchasing a few drinks and were taking forever and she noticed me waiting patiently so she upgraded my size for free which was nice of her. I got the PB&J this time around and was pretty disappointed :/​We use to have an Emerald City Smoothie place in town with the same drink and I liked theirs much more. It was just so bland. I still like this place for some reason so i’m sure i’ll be back haha. I want to explore the rest of their smoothie menu and maybe try some supplements and vitamins while i’m at it.

I used to live in Silverdale and I love going to max nutrition to buy all my vitamins and minerals. I also like there smoothies and knowing that they dont add junk like artificial flavors and syrup that is not good for you. The people are really nice and they help you if you have any questions. Ever since i went to there store I change my diet and i feel much healthier. The shakes are great and nutritious so people that complain that they dont like these shakes are the same people that like eating junk like ice cream or slushies remember they dont add extra sugar but rather use natural sweetners.

I order the Nutty Buddy smoothie at the Maxx Sports Nutrition in either the Silverdale or Poulsbo location. They are so knowledgeable about supplements and have great customer service. As a personal trainer, I appreciate their dedication to promoting health and taking a holistic approach. I often recommend them to my clients and friends for their nutritional and dietary needs. Cannot think of anything negative about this business! They get an A+ from me.

I think it was call the green machine but the lady said it was there most popular smoothie and I agree it was very good it had protein n iron in it. Stop by n just ask they’re friendly n very helpful people. Well b back soon.

I went into Maxx to pick up a straightforward supplement and ended up getting an unsolicited sales pitch from a staff member for a «cure for AIDS and cancer» that involved going to a feed store, when I was simply inquiring about a arthritis remedy. The staff member wouldn’t drop his pitch which involved him going to a website at the register computer and I had to ask for the receipt and interrupt him in order to leave. It was very awkward and uncomfortable, I will never return!

While I’m not sure if I trust the level of knowledge of the people working there about their supplements, I did enjoy their prices. The protein supplement I normally use was about 20 dollars cheaper than it was at GNC and 10 dollars cheaper than I could find on base at the NEX. Needless to say, I’ll be shopping here simply because it’s better priced than anywhere else in the area. Protein shake I ordered here was excellent as well. Fresh bananas make all the difference. I’ll be coming here for my supplement needs.

The drinks are truly good and they use organic ingredients instead of corn syrup and sugars. Every time I drink a smoothie I feel good for hours. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and you actually feel like your talking to a person who cares. I love going here.

I’ve shopped at Maxx Nutriton many times. They have a good selection, they are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell and their prices are fair. For vitamins and supplements they can’t be beat.

Pretty much since they have opened, We go to Maxx every weekend after soccer with the kids (age 5 and 6). Not only are the smoothies great (and they always make sure they are) but it helps to reinforce how good eating/​drinking healthy can be.
If you go and you find you don’t like something, ask them to fix it and they will absolutely do right by you.
Besides smoothies, they are great for info about overall health. During the flu season they had a great supplement for us. Also, the ‘oreganol oil’ is great if you have dry skin.
Seriously, check them out and you won’t be sorry.

Was not at all impressed by their drinks. I ordered a drink that was strawberry based, that tasted more along the lines of a Pina Colada. Verrryy disappointing. After that I told myself I would never go back to Maxx, but on my way to class in Poulsbo I decided to stop by the Poulsbo Maxx Nutrition and give it another taste. I mentioned to the guy making my drink how I really disliked my drink in Silverdale. He told me that I need to go back and give them another try. So I did. And it made no difference. The drink was still terrible. On the otherhand I did like the drink I purchased in Poulsbo, but I would drive all the way to Poulsbo just to get my drink than to get one from Silverdale, I learned my lesson.
