As an inexperienced, beginning knitter I happened upon this shop and was really impressed. Even an experienced knitter would marvel at the ammmazing selection of yarn all neatly organized along the walls.
The customer service was great! Libby (?) helped me pick a scarf pattern and sat down with me despite being busy, to personally teach me the pattern and help me start. I felt really welcome here.
Love this place.

Silverdale isn’t exactly on the way to anywhere, unless you count that great bakery in Poulsbo. However, if you’re in need of yarn (which you probably aren’t, you know you’re sitting on a ton right now) this is a great shop.
Friendly folks, a really good selection and prices that always seem to beat what’s going on in Tacoma. When I claim to be in the mood for a lovely hwy 16 drive it’s really just an excuse to stop here.

A wonderful shop with a wide variety of yarns. TONS of sock yarn!
Linda is very kind. When I was shopping recently (not because I needed more yarn), I found a pattern I wanted to make. I asked her about the yarn in the pattern – she had it and showed it to me, then suggested a different (and lower cost) yarn more suited to the Texas weather where my daughter lives. I love this place. And the garden outside is amazing!

When I first moved to the Kitsap peninsula, I was delighted to find a LYS right down the street from my apartment. I was even happier to walk in the door and be immediately welcomed. It was as though I’d been shopping there for years. They have a pretty good selection of yarns and are open until 8 on Wednesdays. They also have a knitting group that meets on Tuesday nights. The women there are all ages and welcome you to come sit and knit at the table.
My husband and I are moving to the Bay area at the end of this month, and this is definitely one of the businesses I will miss. The owner offered to ship any yarns that I needed but couldn’t find. That’s why this place gets 5 stars :)
