Great market with very helpful ownership. Great selection with lots of stuff the supermarket is lacking. I braved the feta despite the warning of food poisoning below. Still standing, and it was delish.

Food POISONING on multiple occasions. My parents frequent this market. They enjoy frozen meat patties, «fresh» mortadella, and feta cheese. In our family we’ve had food positing three times. The first time we thought was a fluke. The 2nd time we said no more meats, just frozen foods like phyllo dough and meat patties. Yet it amazes me that every product in this place seems contaminated, moldy, or expired. WTF. The owners refuse to take responsibility. Sounds like a good place for the show KITCHEN NIGHTMARES We love little markets like this, but not if it becomes a health risk.

Cool little greek/​mediterranean specialty market in Wheaton, right by the intersection of Georgia Ave and Viers Mill Rd. Loved their selection of (inexpensive!) nuts and seeds, spices, legumes, olives, olive oil, LOTS of kinds of filo dough and feta cheeses. They also have a freezer section with different sausages and spankopita. They also have a deli counter with some fresh (deli) meats, cheeses, and olives.
