Don’t bother with mobile orders here… you end up waiting an extra 10 mins when you show up, everytime. Lame. I’ll just go to the target starbucks, thanks.

Friendly service. If you are regular in the morning, Rochelle will remember you and your drink which is so unusual in the DMV area. They have a bar with lots of seating. They sometimes take forever to make your coffee though, even when the place is kinda empty.

Two stars for the service, one star for the amusement. This review combines a few different visits, but it all comes together in one lesson. When I need to smile, and don’t really care what I’m drinking, this is the place to go. I’ve decided that I have an accent. Or maybe a speech impediment. It is specific to Starbucks employees but somehow undetected by the general public. I ask for«hot chocolate» I receive«white mocha» I explain to the barista that white chocolate is an abomination and that I need my drink to be remade so that I can have a hot chocolate. I receive a «white chocolate.» I leave thirsty, not wanting to go further down the white-things-that-have-nothing-to-do-with-chocolate path. I ask for«molten chocolate»(a Valentine’s Day promotion) I receive«mocha latte» and figure that at least it isn’t white chocolate and drink it anyway. And then the kicker. I ask for«Sakura Frappuccino»(a promotion for Cherry Blossom season and only available for a few short days.) The response? «I’m sorry, we don’t serve beer.» Blink. Blink. I tried again, realizing that I’d used the Japanese word instead of the English. «The Cherry Blossom Frappuccino?» I ask, while trying not to laugh. «Ah, yes! Sorry. I thought you asked for Sapporo, the Korean beer. I’ll get your drink. Can I get you anything else today?» It was at this point that I decided not to tell her that it is a Japanese beer. Or that I’d really have preferred to have my drink without the white mocha syrup that I knew was inevitable.(And in this case, actually planned, as the recipe was strawberries and cream Frappuccino with matcha powder and white mocha syrup. It would have been a great drink without the syrup.) Yay for my standard drink being an unsweetened iced coffee. Yay for using the rewards program so that the occasional drink is free. Yay for having this most current drink attempt be my free drink. And yay for the newest app update which allows you to order ahead of time. I’ll try this the next time I’m in the area. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

This particular Starbucks is especially fast and efficient. I was in line ordering four drinks for myself and friends. The baristas had all of our drinks in less than ten minutes. I’m impressed! It’s your typical Starbucks, but the awesome baristas earn this location five stars.

Worst customer service experience at any food establishment I’ve been to. Like others that have left a review here about bad customer service, let me tell you, it’s real. I ordered a pineapple kona pop and did not receive the correct drink. No big deal, I’m not ‘that’ guy that makes a scene when something goes wrong. People make mistakes. What annoyed me is when I went up to ask for the pineapple kona pop and explained how the previous barista made a mistake, I received peach tranquility AGAIN. No big deal, I’ll just go up and tell the barista she made the same mistake. Nope. It’s not her mistake. It’s MYMISTAKE. I should’ve known they were out of stock. But don’t tell me that, just give me something random again. «Take it or leave it!» Thanks for making a scene when I kept my cool about the situation. A big middle finger to you though, Vishnu.

I wanted to get my Target on & decided to chill at Starbucks. It is conveniently located inside the store. The area is clean & spacious. You can gaze out the window or just chillax… unless you have a chatty, opinionated employee. We’ll call him JoeStarbux. JoeStarbux is well versed in the lottery, how to save for your family, Justin Bieber, how bratty teenage girls are and restaurant compliance. JoeStarbux seems out going and is probably a hard worker. I wanted to get off my feet for a little bit and grab a quick bite. I can’t report on the food or beverages for two reasons: 1) Joe Starbux is on his mandatory 15 min break & had to close down. 2) I am going to spend my discretionary funds somewhere that values the customer. I don’t need to hear how the customer traffic prevents Joe Starbux from getting his break. So if you are visiting Target, take your break at Subway. There is also a Chik Fil A just down the street. Starbucks, since this location is apparently really busy, how about hiring another employee so Joe Starbux can get his break?

I’ve visited this Starbucks only when the one in Target is unmanned(today for some reason), and it definitely disappointed. I’ve been here twice and each time had to wait for someone to help me that was doing something else(not waiting on customers). First off, the location is welcoming, but the parking lot SUCKS. Too small spaces with people parking/spilling over the white lines. Not to mention the lot always being full… sigh. Second and lastly, the baristas were inattentive even with long lines present. Although I was next in line — no line when I walked in — I waltzed right out after waiting 7 mins without being acknowledged. Never again.

I’ve never had a bad experience at this location unlike many of my fellow Unilocalers. The service is not over the top friendly, but they do not give me an attitude either. I usually come in the afternoons and the place isn’t busy. Sometimes it’s hard to find a table or seat when trying to study or do homework, but other than that this is an A-ok location in my book.

Once I got past the order person, after practically playing pictionary to get across that I wanted a cool-lime refresher the barrista was the most unfriendly, unmotivated, I’ve ever seen. This isnt my first rodeo at this Starbucks but my first review and last trip here. Done. I will drive out of my way to not go to this«Suck-bucks»

Workers have an attitude. They get the orders wrong all the time. Very dirty. Drinks are made mediocre. If there is any sort of line be prepared to wait up to 20 mins!

Worst service I’ve ever received. Ever. The drink was good and the place was mostly clean, but I left feeling like crap because of how rude they were. I wish I had known there was a Target with a Starbucks in so close by. I still can’t believe how rude she was.

Horrible attitudes by the employees and super slow. If it’s not too early I try to go to the one in Target to avoid this location

The layout is almost like any ordinary Starbucks. Most of the time there is only 1 worker so it may take a while for you to get your drink and/or food.

Smaller store. No drive thru, so there can be lines. A recent redecoration has added a few seats in the window. WiFi can be a bit overloaded.

What’s with all the reviews about crappy attitudes? Don’t you know an employee’s attitude usually mirrors your own? There is only one cashier who is not necessarily«exuberant», and I wouldn’t be either first thing in the morning dealing with a bunch of people who haven’t had their coffee yet. When I encounter employees like this, I attribute it to unseen factors(kid is sick? Babysitter cancelled? Midterm tomorrow? Relative died? Worried about how they are gonna pay rent? Etc.) and I am EXTRA nice to them. Try it, it’s more proactive than bitching. With all the unique, specialized, personalized coffee drinks Starbucks offers, they’re bound to mess up. Come on, give them a break. They are only human. It can be slow at times, esp when here are a bunch of customers ordering coffee drinks(duh). Expect to wait a whopping 5 minutes during peak times. Other than that, I get what I ordered and I get what I like here. There is plenty of parking. They are nice to me and the kid. And I leave with my caffeine fix intact.

This place is always short staffed from what it looks like. They take awhile to make your drinks but they do their best. This may not be the best location to drop by for a quick fix if it is busy, you will be in line for some time. Overall, I do enjoy this store and everyone is always so so friendly !
