Dr. Shore is the reason I don’t trust dermatologists. He treated me many years ago when I was a minor — the reason I specify this is because he talked me into getting a chemical peel(considered cosmetic) on the spot, and being 15 with acne scars and not knowing any better, I agreed. My parents then got a bill for over $ 400 — titled«removal of benign tumor» — which NEVER happened. I suppose it’s possible he mislabeled the(1) peel or whatever, it wouldn’t surprise me. The point is, don’t allow your teenagers to see him on their own, he WILL take advantage of them. I don’t know what his standard treatments are now but back then he threw different antibiotics at my acne problem and I had no lasting benefit.

I recently visited Dr. Shore in his office at Silver Spring and had several moles removed, in addition to a full body check up. This was my first visit and I was very pleased with the quality of the attention received. First, Dr. Shore took the time to examine my moles and give me an overall evaluation. Second, his PA did a full body check up to detect and remove the moles of concern. I am very happy with the results. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Shore’s team.

Dr. Shore is a really nice. It just got weird as he let his intern/assistant in the room. I was already self-conscious about my problem and didn’t want someone others to see it. Besides that I think he is ok. He wrote up a prescription for me which didn’t do much.

Have been a patient for years, never felt mistreated by any of the staff or Dr. Shore. Have had several small growths removed without issues of any kind. Just scheduled our 6 month check for January and looking forward to a thorough review.

I have to agree with the previous comments, bu the situation with the receptionist is a big issue with me because she is very unprofessional to the clients, she thinks that all her clients are elderlerly because they are in a senior building and she is very getto and doesn’t have office skills.

I recently stopped going here. Dr. Shore is nice enough. He takes the time to answer your questions. Some of the staff are great and friendly, but the people at the reception desk can be rude. A bit out of the way, but is OK in a pinch.

WARNING!!! This was my first time to a dermatologist. Dr. Shore did a full body check with an intern and a nurse assistant present(both female). Nothing wrong there. My issue was that he removed 2 freckles one on my arm another on the lower back. I have huge bumpy scars from my two freckles! I am glad he did not remove anything from my face because I felt he could had taken more care of the cut… why leave an open wound??? why not just do a stitch to prevent a HUGE red scar that healed bumpy and hurts when clothes rub! There are other ways to remove frekles I swear he must had done it with an Exacto(sp?) knife. So Unilocalers BEWARE, Dr. Ronald Shore is certainly not looking for your scar to heal properly. And from me he gets NOSTARS!
