I actually like most of the styles here and you can’t beat the prices. They have non-flashy work shoes but some cute going out shoes too. And the boots are very affordable. Plus they have sales all the time. Well stocked. They almost always have the shoes I need. Really friendly staff every time. I mean like, happy to help pull down some shoes but aren’t trying to tell you what to wear.

The store was neatly decorated and clean. I don’t stop by Payless often but I saw sale signs in the window. The socks were calling to me. The quality of shoes seem to have improved over the years. There were five customers in the store and only one visible employee. That isn’t fair to the customers or the employee.

Spacious shared parking lot with Sears and the other strip mall stores. Selection here is slightly limited, and the organization of the aisles leaves something to be desired; a popular series was clustered within its own display in the aisle with the smaller end of women’s sizes, rather than stocking across sizes as with every other line. The sales associate was happy to pull my size from the back(Bigfoot of Taiwan reppin’ in MoCo!). He was knowledgable and helpful about this location’s inventory, as well as similar models available at other branches. I declined the suggested subscription and flat-hose purchase during checkout. I feel kinda bad because I walked in just after two other ladies and definitely got preferential treatment, replete with killer smile, for being such a PYT. Oh well, my happy feet were in and out within five minutes.
