You can get lunch here (love their sushi!), lottery tickets, get your clothes cleaned, and more, including a great selection of reasonably priced snacks. Just steps away from the Silver Spring Metro, next door to the NOAA visitor center. Nice lady runs it, who is very friendly. If you work in the NOAA Silver Spring campus, it’s in the lobby of Building 2.

This place is under new management (and I really loved the older man that used to own it). While not much has changed, it’s still basically a tiny convenience store, the new owner makes homemade onigiri. She usually has three varieties ready for each day. A beef bulgogi, a tuna/​kimchi, and a calamari. It’s hard to find onigiri anywhere in DC besides maybe an Asian grocery. I’ve had the beef and the tuna and really liked it. It’s solid stuff. I recommend.
