Mayflower Buffet

Food from this restaurant made me deathly ill once, and never went back. Additionally, the owners of the restaurant advertised on people’s houses, and that confirmed my not going there again. The restaurant is now closed, having been replaced by another Irene’s Pupusas location.

The Mayflower Buffet is a buffet that is not known for its quality but as being a local Chinese buffet. If you are looking for great food The Mayflower Buffet is not for you, but if you are willing to lower your standards I say «Give it shot!»

So it’s not the best Chinese buffet that I have been too, but since we had a coupon and the price was reasonable, I don’t have alot of room to complain.
The dinner buffet is around $ 11/​person, but probably a couple bucks cheaper if you go at lunch. We had a buy one, get one half off coupon. They have the normal food that a Chinese buffet has: jello, dumplings, general’s chicken, fried rice, sesame noodles, wonton and egg drop soup, shrimp/​imitation crab dishes etc. and of course, mac & cheese, pizza, and fries for the kids, big and small. The food was ok, like I said, not the best I have had though. They did have shrimp dipped in piña colada sauce that was pretty good and I got to load up on egg drop soup. We’ll be back.
