Wish I could give them zero stars. Tried to get my gutters cleaned before the snow storm. Had an appointment with a new company when I&J called me back. Having used I&J before, I cancelled the new company and scheduled an appointment for the following day. I was supposed to be out, and was told that a crew was coming at 2:00 pm and to leave a check in an envelope. Turns out I was home that day, and I&J was a no show. I called multiple times. Got voicemail and asked that somebody call me back just to say whether they were coming or not. No calls back. Very frustrating to be left in the lurch.

They quote you one price over the phone to clean the gutters $ 75 and then they show up and ask for $ 125. They say they won’t clean the gutters unless you pay more money.
Should have read past reviews it appears that it is common practice for this company to quote one price and then show up and ask for more money. They also were more than 3 hours late for the appointment. I would not recommend using this company.

I just coordinated window washing for my entire townhouse community and called I&J after having used them several times in the past. I had 9 homes signed up on the list for the day and called twice to confirm the window price (and ensure transoms were included in the price). They showed up this morning and wanted to upcharge me on the windows AND told me the transoms were not included and were counted as a separate window. I called to speak with the owner who apparently does not work on Mondays and the receptionist said he would call me back. .I am still waiting. I should have read the reviews prior because upcharging seems to be a consistent issue. There is a reason the price is too good — because ultimately that is not the price. It will be the last time I use I&J and will ensure I don’t recommend again. Buyer beware!

I just called I&J back, at both offices, VA and MD, asking to speak to a manager about my service yesterday. No managers available. I said I’d been having I&J clean my gutters for years, all prior cleaners were ok (not destructive like yesterday) or fabulous (Alex) so while I’d accept having to pay $ 75 (or more) for a new birdbath, it seemed reasonable not to pay $ 50 for destructive service yesterday. Neither woman seemed to understand me, the last one said «why did you hire us if we do bad work?» Nooooo, the bad work was only the last job, yesterday. (???)
I guess I&J doesn’t care if your service is destructive, they won’t address it (if either woman understood what I was saying, because both had completely illogical responses to my points.)

The crew did not show up on the appointed date — the second time this has happened to me. When I called to determine what happened, the receptionist was rude and told me a manager was only available from 8 – 10 am on Mondays. The prices are reasonable but if they are rude and unreliable…

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a 9 a.m. appointment to have my windows cleaned. At 10:00 a.m. they did not show up. I called to find out what was going on and was told that the company no longer serviced the Baltimore area. It would have been nice for them to have called and told me that. I have used them in the past and was ok with continuing to use them. Now I am warning others to find a reputable company that let you know if they no longer service your area. Again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I could not be more delighted! I have used this company for many cleaning projects over the years with fabulous results. Recently I had them paint my house, replace rotting wood and gutters, clean and seal the deck, and wash all win​dows​.Mr. Flores and his crews always arrived right on time, worked quickly, cleaned up, and left my house looking brand new! I had forgotten to ask him to do one small item, and it was done the next day. All of his workers are extremely considerate and polite, his prices are very reasonable, and his estimates were right on the mark. We will continue to use this excellent company as long as we own our house!

We hired I&J to clean our windows and gutters a few years ago, they did a decent job. We then asked them to return to clean our gutters only. They quoted us a price on the phone however when the crew arrived they said they had to charge more since our house was big. We explained to the woman on the phone the size of our house and the price we paid the first time, but there was no change.
We just scheduled them to powerwash our house after seeing their coupon that states «whole house siding only $ 249». When my husband spoke to the woman on the phone he specifically asked if the size of the house mattered. She said no, any size is $ 249. When the crew arrived the guy said it would cost $ 350.
This was the second time that they upcharged us on the spot despite what the woman on the phone said. My husband called her after sending the crew away to inform her of what was stated. Her only response was, «if that’s what they say it will cost then that’s what you’ll have to pay». I guess it doesn’t matter what their own coupon says!
So long I & J, if you cannot provide any customer service or consistency among your own workers we will not use you. You just lost a customer with a large house.

I can’t believe I am the first reviewer. Last fall I asked three people to recommend a window cleaning company and all three suggested I & J. They gave me a reasonable quote on the phone (per window), with an option for both inside and out or one or the other. I opted for both and the crew could not have been more professional and careful. I realized while they worked (probably when I read on the side of their van all the things they do!) that we needed to get our patio powerwashed and our gutters cleaned. I called their office while they were there and they were able to approve adding on that to our job. The house and patio looked 200% better after I&J finished. I highly recommend them.
