Dr. Ann Ruffalo is such a thorough physician and if it were up to me, and blueprints existed for Doctors… I would design each and every one after her. She asks just the right questions and gets to the nitty gritty of whatever issues you’re having. Unlike some doctors, that require multiple appointments that fail to yield any results. It’s infuriating. She also works out an entire regimen with you, instead of throwing medication every chance she gets. If you need it, it’s recommended. If you need to eat better and exercise, it’s stated. If it’s a combination of both, she tells you.

There’s a new team representing Healthy Steps, and I can promise they are EFFICIENT. Every appointment is quick, thorough, and I leave with complete confidence in the way insurance matters are handled. The receptionists are friendly too.
The facilities are also well maintained. Rejoice, germ freaks! You’ve found a safe haven :)

If you are looking for a female doctor she is the one. Dr. Baksh has lots of Experience with LGBT patients, and sees your healthcare as a partnership. her front desk staff are very helpful. Labs are done in the same building, she emails and calls you back timely. have been a patient since 2005, and she has provided any referrals I have ever asked for. Healthy Steps is a great doctors group.
