Been here since November, it is now August. I pretty much love the place. It’s very tiny but my kitchen and bathroom are updated, I have a handy little washer/dryer unit, my neighbors are pretty quiet and I never hear them for the most part, the outside is very clean and well tended to… I like it! BUT! I took away a star because of the high utility and water bills :(:(:(Ok I only have 560 square feet or so and I don’t keep the AC/heat blasting and I still pay $ 109 every month. Which sucks because I’m rarely home. Bummer. Will most likely stay here another year. By the way you don’t have to worry about roaches or mice or anything, I haven’t seen a single one since I’ve got here.

I really have never written a review for an apartment, but definitely had to share about Hampton point. First off, another company recently bought Hampton point out. Horrible staff. The one guy is kind of lazy, didn’t put in the maintenance request, didn’t properly look for a package when I had the slip that the ups guy left on my door and he claimed the guy«made mistakes». I sent my cousin in and told her I think the package was right in the front of the office(I didn’t want to tell him let me look myself) and guess what? It was right in front of his face, the same box he picked up and put down. Second, the biggest headache and outrageous thing at Hampton point is the electricity bill. In the winter months the bill jumped to $ 367. For 2 people that work all day and had to keep the apt 74 – 75 because of the dog, we were FREEZING still during the night and during the day if we were here. The fire place was no help at all. As a matter of fact right now in April, the apartment is still chilly. Maintenance is awesome! The guys are super nice and responsive. Never had an issue. I’ve never had an issue with parking either, just when it snowed really bad, it was a little difficult but never had to walk out of the way to get to my apartment. I guess it depends on which side you live. Last beware of the 60 day notice. They did not send a letter reminding us or anything. When we found out we were trying to negotiate being that we didn’t know and now we have to pay a prorated fee of 600 $ for 12 days. The price in rent also went up for what, I have no clue. They don’t have anything other than the pool. All in all, the electricity bill is the main reason why I’m leaving. Oh and I will add my dad lived here many years ago, he said the same thing about the electric bill being high even when he wasn’t physically there for days! Bizarre

Decent place to live. Quiet neighborhood. Quick maintenance fixes. Friendly staff. I lived her almost two years now and quite honestly don’t have many complaints. Only concern is high water/utility bills and limited parking. Except to pay a lot extra if you use a lot of heat/ac and water.
