OK! This place is amazing and the quality of food is great too. best part is that its halal. The owner is super super super nice and friendly. She offered me a sample for the chilli they make in-house which wasn’t bad at all. I usually get their roast beef in ciabatta which is truly amazing, depends also on what sides you get in there. Its a small cozy convenient store right off new Hampshire.

I finally tried one of their sandwiches and their chicken teriyaki panini is incredible. The best part is that their sandwiches are made to order and you can customize it to your heart’s desire. Love it! This place is a quaint little convenience store and is certainly a hidden gem in the neighborhood.

Sells expired foods. I went for milk yesterday morning and all they had was one container that was 2 days expired. I told her the one container was expired; she went back to check and said there was no more, and that more would be delivered at 2 pm. So I went back around 6 pm and got milk. Now I am the fool because I didn’t check — I grabbed a container and *it turned out to be the expired container.* I had told her yesterday, BUTSHEDIDN’T REMOVEITFROMTHESHELF. Several months earlier, I picked up some interesting looking dried vegetable snacks but they tasted bland and dry. Then I noticed the expiration date was months passed. That time I had a receipt and they offered a refund. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the candy and drinks were ok. I won’t buy sandwiches or prepared food because then you can’t check the expiration of the food they use to make them.

Stopped in for the first time after years of driving by it and living around the corner. Reviews were good and everyone has said their sandwiches were tasty. Very spacy store with a lot of products from soda to packaged foods. Ordered a panini with smoked turkey and the sun-dried tomato spread. Overall, I would say it was a decent sandwich, especially for a convenience store, but i wouldn’t rush back for it. It’s worth stopping in for something quick.

They had a yummy sandwich sample of turkey and sun dried tomato spread so on the next visit I ordered it. To be fair, I was having some wicked morning sickness that day so I should have went with one of their vegetarian alternatives. That was my bad. I did indeed eat the hell out of the fro yo! I got a cup of pineapple and cookies and cream frozen yogurt. So much to choose from, clean, nice, friendly place… I don’t know if anybody’s noticed but most customer service is pretty crappy overall in Prince Georges county so I get excited whenever I stop here and usually over spend lol. Oh, I also was made so happy when I found out there was a free soup with my sandwich. I ordered broccoli cheddar soup but it didn’t taste or look much like usual ched broccoli soup, which confused me; but it was free and free is for me and I’ll take that any day!

I love supporting local businesses, and I work in the area so I stopped by here today just to see what they may have. I got the corned beef panini and it’s delicious! I also got chili and it’s similarly great. They have a wide selection of snacks and sweets from Turkey, so I picked up a chocolate bar made by Ulker, a famous Turkish chocolate company. I will be coming here frequently! Everything is halal, too.

I really like this place! I walked in for the first time today thinking I’d only get cup of frozen yogurt when I came upon a sample of their pastrami panini. This was probably one of the best pastrami paninis I’ve ever had! I had to order one whole panini for myself to go as well as spend several minutes picking out a few things from the plethora of snacks on the shelves. Sorry Panera, but this is my new goto panini place and I’m more than willing to support a non big food restaurant chain! There’s a $ 5 minimum for credit card purchases.

As others have said this place does a great sandwich. The deli is small but big enough to get the job done. While I think the frozen yogurt is a bit pricey(careful they sell by weight and it adds up quickly) it is very tasty and a nice treat on a hot day.(I know not too many hot days lately). Their coffee is good as well. They have a very nice outdoor seating area and the staff is always friendly when i’ve stopped in. As a convenience store it has a few items, milk, bread, cold drinks, chips. I really like this place for lunch when I don’t want to prepare something at home, or when I just want to treat myself to a great sandwich. I highly recommend you try this place if you’re in the area and hungry for soup, sandwich, and/or frozen yogurt.

Such a cute place! They offer frozen yogurt, but if I were you I’d go to Sweet Frog down the street. They have a nice selection of deli meat, spreads, cheese, and bread to choose from. I ordered the rosemary with veggie patty, provolone, tomato, and lettuce. They also have a sun-dried tomato spread. Mmm. Today’s special was a free soup with sandwich purchase. Since I have a hard time deciding between the two, Yuhua(I hope I’m spelling this right) combined both the lentil and cream of mushroom. Sounds weird, tastes delicious! $ 5.28 for a large sandwich and soup isn’t bad, especially when you get top-notch customer service. Do what I do, and rush home so you can eat lunch/early dinner with your dog. Or dine in. Whatever floats your boat.

This place has everything! I got the pastrami sandwich, which was so tasty. They use a panini press to toast the sandwiches, which isn’t that common, but it worked. Cheap food, well worth a try.

I read the reviews(a few times), and had to stop into the place, since I pass it everyday going to work. I got coffee in the morning, and sandwiches in the afternoon. The owner Reza, and his lovely wife Susan are extremely nice people. The other employees there are also very friendly. Susan made me feel right at home with some homemade soup samples, while she helped prepare my sandwiches. The sandwiches are awesome, and plenty big for the reasonal prices. This is a down to earth mom and pop shop, with genuine happy people running it. It’s just so nice to go into a store and get customer service with a smile. They also have coffee and sandwich cards, which you get a discount once you buy so many. In the morning, I talked to a gentleman that said their breakfast offerings are great, though I haven’t tried them myself(yet). This store gets an A+. I’ll be going back very often.

Serves the best sandwiches! Even though the place markets itself as a convenience store, the quality of their sandwiches, friendliness of their staff as well as the warmth of the owner and his wife make this relatively hidden spot an awesome stop, whether you’re hungry, thirsty, or just want to hang out, get some coffee/frozen yogurt and chill! Highly recommended.

Love this place! The staff are so friendly. They are obviously a family business. The woman who makes the sandwiches is awesome. Whenever I’m out of town I set my dad up there for his lunch. Growing up that place used to be a produce mArket that sells snowcones in the summer. But soon it turned into literally a rotten fruit stand. So glad this place turned into something useful. I do miss the snowcones, but the free coffee here is pretty good.

I’ve never felt compelled to write a Unilocal review before, especially not for a convenience store, but I stopped by Green Apple Deli today and was too impressed not to comment. First of all, the store and the bathroom are very clean and well-lit, much different than your standard convenience store atmosphere. I was drawn in by the frozen yogurt sign outside but initially disappointed when the machine didn’t seem to be working. The owner quickly explained that the machine had only been turned on for a few minutes and wasn’t quite warmed up yet, but if I would wait five minutes it would be ready(in their defense, it was 10:30 in the morning, a bit early in the day to expect frozen yogurt!). As I waited the owners offered me samples of their soups, breakfast sandwich, and cookies. I thought all of the food was really good, well above and beyond the usual gas station fare, and I’d make a special trip back just for the barley soup. I also got a chance to wander around and check out the packaged foods they offer. There is a nice variety, including some organic and gluten-free goods that you wouldn’t normally see at a store like this. The friendly service and quick and convenient but high quality food options make this an appealing new business in the neighborhood. I really hope they succeed, and I plan to stop by often.

Well this is very interesting. It’s a convenience store but not like 7 – 11 or a 6 – 12 or a High’s. It just does not have that typical convenience store look or feel to it. Much nicer lighting for one thing. Ugly florescent are out nice warm mini-spots are in. The prices are higher on certain items but the merchandise is more up scale more unique something that you wouldn’t expect to find in a simple 7 – 11. They have things like vegetables chips but not just any ol bag of process chemically induced chips. These are fresh vegetables carrots and others, that have been dried and seasoned placed in a plastic tub like container. Think more like Trader’s Joe’s than 7 – 11 and that is the way to figure this place out. They have fruit there not as much as I would have liked because years ago this place use to be a plant, fruit and veggie stand selling very locally farmed produce. But they did have some Asian pears which I got for a dollar each. They were the smaller Chinese version not the colossus Korean versions that you find in most Asian stores now. Which is good for me sometimes I don’t want my fruit to be my main course. They also have a sandwich deli there or as they call it a gourmet deli, where they’ll make you all kinds of fancy sandwiches and a fresh salad station complements that part. So go here look around you are bound to find some very unique items for a convenience store and much of the same old same old. I don’t know how they are going to fare here in this location in a small and very old strip row with a couple of churches next to it and a High School down the street. For people driving in that direction it’s convenient to get to cause the only two other 7−11s on New Hampshire Ave. are on the other side of the street making it necessary for one to make a u-turn and some advance planning at a road that is getting more crowed as development encroaches it’s way in upper suburbia. I hope they can make the grade.
