We hired vladimir for our first project this spring to widening our driveway. We explained to him briefly what to do and what is our only budget for this project. Very easy to talked to when it comes to price its negotiable and off course affordable. I amazed the way they worked very nice and clean as we say «PULIDO!» which means professional done! very Worth it in every single cent we pay. We will call him again for our next future projects. I hired Flores Landscaping & Construction to do 3 big jobs: demolish the crumbling, 57-​years-​old walkway, retaining wall, and driveway and replace them with brand new ones with design (without hiring a designer) and high-​quality materials. Vladimir Flores, the owner/​manager/​supervisor, won the contract over three other companies with comparable estimates because he impressed me as a proactive, engaging, and personable businessman. He came to me with brick and stone samples and offered ideas before he gave me an estimate and before I even made a decision to do these jobs this winter in the first place. (After all, we’ve lived with these crumbling walkway, retaining wall, and driveway since we moved here in 1988 and I had gotten estimates and then dropped the projects three times before in the last 10 years.) Vladimir’s approach is warm and friendly, not at all pushy. It actually helped me make up my mind to go ahead with these expensive, but useful, if not also necessary, construction projects.
Now, all 3 jobs have been completed and I cannot be happier or more satisfied! (The only downside was that it took longer than expected due to the wintry weather.). During the construction, Vladimir would discuss the design with me and seek my input before hand every step of the way. He was very accommodating when I changed my mind about a material, had a new idea about the layout, or requested to add a couple of minor items. His crew was very professional — competent, hardworking, polite, and on time. They kept the work area neat, hauled away all debris promptly, put away supply and equipment at the end of the day, and cleaned up any remaining junks when all jobs were done.
Now my new brick-​framed flag-​stone walkway with like-​kind landing and stairs, brick-​capped natural-​stone-​veneered retaining wall, and huge (21ft X 46ft) concrete driveway with 2 grand (24in X 24in wide) brick columns at the entrance are the envy of my neighbors. They are not only beautiful, but grand. One can tell that they were built with great care to last a lifetime. I have no doubt that they have added tremendous value to my property!
I would use Flores again for future construction and landscaping projects. And I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a competent, reliable, and reasonable company to do landscaping or construction jobs.
P. S. I also hired Flores to replace my 22-​years-​old wood fence with a new one when the first big project was underway. They did a fabulous job with the fence too!
