Every good/positive review is true. The place doesn’t look like much on the inside, but the food that comes out of the kitchen is the best in the area. We have tried China Gourmet, Lee’s Kitchen, And Wing Wah(our go-to for years, but the staff & food changed) We have been 2 – 3 times now and everything has been great! Pork Mei Fun Orange Chicken Combo LoMein Crab Rangoon filling is delicious

5 stars for the food, –3 stars for the experience. The food got dat yum yum… but the woman who works the counter is rude as butt… even for Chinese take out standards. I was also WAY over-charged on my order. $ 16 for tofu w/veggies and a hot & sour soup? That’s not what your online menu said. In short, despite this being one of the better options for Chinese food in the area(with the competition being Fu Lin and Lee’s, that’s not saying much), I say stay away. All China King fortune cookies should simply read«F*ck you.»

Ordered delivery today for dinner, they quoted 45 min’s for delivery, but the food came in 30 min’s which was a nice surprise. I ordered a large chicken fried rice and a dinner size kung pao chicken. The fried rice was pretty good, with big chunks of chicken, onions and bean sprouts. The flavor of the kung pao chicken was good, however the veggie to chicken ratio was way off, there were way more veggies in there than chicken. Also, they are a bit over-priced. For the two items above the total was $ 27.33! May order again, but only during lunch time for their lunch specials. :)

Great food, great prices, and I love coming back here for good take out. Usually walk out with a variety of things, but the bean curd, general tso’s, and crab rangoons are pretty set staples. Surprisingly good burgers too!

This place is absolutely yummy; albeit, the charge($ 30) for the food was a bit exorbitant. We ordered egg drop soup, vegetable fried rice, 2 gigantic shrimp egg rolls, and General Tso’s Chicken. The food was delicious, and the egg rolls were gigantic. I have never seen egg rolls so thick. We only had to wait for about 20 mins for our food to arrive, and the driver was so kind that I gave him a generous tip. I may order from here once in a blue moon because the price of the food is too high to order from them regularly.

More of a takeout joint but it has earned my respect over the years. I usually order Chinese food from one particular place but when on the run, this is the best, for the quickest and the tastiest food! They have a wide variety of dishes. Overall great food.

MEH is right! I was hungry, so I settled on China King. I was also lazy, so I settled on delivery(even though China King is approximately 3 minutes from my house.) Ordered a large shrimp fried rice and 10 chicken wings for a whooping total of $ 30 and some change. If I knew I was going to be spending an arm and a leg on Chinese takeout, I would have just eaten my own arm and leg. I kid. Also, don’t ask why I ordered that many wings. Anyways, for that price, I was expecting larger wings or deliciously flavored fried rice. Nope. I could’ve ordered at any other random takeout joint and gotten the same meal and gobbled it up just as fast. Wouldn’t have noticed a difference. Probably never ordering from them again. Next time I’m feeling hungry/lazy, I’ll just get up to go get something. It’s not that they were bad. It was just not worth it, straight up. Alas, I am too lazy to stop being lazy. So, until next time…

In my neighborhood, affordable, good food, and they deliver — what’s not to love. It is not super-fancy food, but it is definitely better than your average Chinese carry out. Each dish(we tried: veggie lo mein, spring roll, egg roll, general tso chicken, kung pao beef, and szechuan string beans) had its own distinct(and good!) flavor. I tend to find quick carry-out places taste like they use the same base sauce so each dish tastes vaguely the same. Not so here. Warnings: The spring rolls are regular, slightly smaller versions of typical egg rolls; the egg rolls are HUGE. One egg roll I would say is the size of 2 average egg rolls. Also, the lo mein was fine, but our least favorite dish of the bunch. Highly recommend: kung pao dishes, loaded with veggies which I especially loved.

This is my neighborhood Chinese spot and I totally vouch for it! I usually get the Shrimp Lo Mein or Shrimp and mixed veggies with the sauce on the side. Boyfriend really likes the Dragon and Phoenix and the General Tso chicken, extra spicy. They also make some killer veggie spring rolls. They’re skinny and small though, so you may want to get at least two. Service is quick. Orders are usually ready within 10 minutes.

Stopped by based on the reviews. The portions were normal, not necessarily huge. Prices were steeper than usual for the pork fried rice and crab Rangoon. About 17.00 plus tip. Overall, the taste was decent. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I may not make this a regular spot based on the cost.

Great food quality. They have a good lunch special too. They are a little pricier than the local competitor down the street. Price wise, I believe they are worth it. Their delivery times are decent. There are tables to eat in but I would rather take it to go.

Delecious typical Chinese take out my personal favorites are orange shrimp, pork fried rice, shrimp egg rolls, egg drop soup and of course the chicken wings with mumbo saunce. No complaints and fast delivery in service area.

Tastes like East LA Chinese and that’s a very good thing. Anywhere that serves pork fried rice as the default rice for combo lunches is right by me.

Good as a takeout restaurant. I wouldn’t eat there, though some people do. Call ahead if you’re carrying out so you won’t have to wait. They sometimes have lines at the cash register. Food is a little overpriced given the lack of atmosphere, but most of it is good and the portions are nice. The meats are always cooked well, and you get a lot. The vegetables are nice and crisp. Their sauces are pretty good. Everything tastes fresh. They have a wide variety of appetizers and dishes. Excellent shrimp rolls with real shrimp inside! They sell refrigerated drinks, so you don’t need to make a separate trip to the grocery store for beverages. If you are looking for Chinese food to bring home, China King is a good place to get it. Their delivery is very fast, but I live practically around the corner. 8÷10÷2014 — This place has become way overpriced for a mostly carryout Chinese restaurant. Food is still very good, but every item on the menu costs more than neighborhood dine-in restaurants. If you don’t mind paying more, their food is better than any other neighborhood Chinese restaurant.

WOW this place is expensive! I We ordered 4 appetizers, 1 small soup and 3 entrees. Total came to more than $ 65! My calculations(from an old menu) came to $ 37. Worse yet, when I called and asked about the discrepancy, we were told that the menu was old and there’s nothing they could do about that. The lack of concern for pleasing a brand new customer is worth never, ever giving them another nickel of my money. The food was okay but certainly not great. Also, when I ordered, I was told that there were 4 dumplings per order, and 4 chicken wings per order — so we got two orders of each(adding to the cost…). We ended up with 8 per order! Maybe in China, 4 and 8 are the same number. Just another reason to stay away…

this place is a 5 star. the orange chicken is great, big portions. lasts for up to 3 meals. the orange beef was great, not hard to chew, the whit rice tasted fresh and not frozen. the service was good they make sure your order is correct. prices are reasonable. the egg rolls are fresh tasting and great. the lo mien is by far the best ive eaten, we got the combination lo mien, it does have mushrooms so if your allergic to them make sure u ask them to not put mushrooms. plenty of seats to eat there, place looks clean as well. free delivery with minimum of $ 15 purchase. good selection of sodas too.

Yep, agree with most of the other reviewers. Definitely plain-Jane in ambiance, just a non-memorable appearing suburban fast-serve Chinese with some uninspring eat-in tables. Despite this, the selection was endless, the prices were good, service was brisk and friendly, and the food was well-prepped and generously portioned. So if you happen to be in/near Aspen Hill and are in the mood for decent Chinese take-out, check out China King!

Used a Double Take Deal recently where we were issued two $ 15 vouchers to be used for two trips. good deal! The portions are HUGE here and the small seating area is spotless. The young lady taking the orders at the counter was Chinese, but was obviously raised here and had NO problems interpreting what I was looking for. If you’re looking for«Fast Chinese food», but with the taste of a fairly good decent sit-down restaurant, this is your place. If they do the Double Take Deal again, do yourself a favor, BUYIT!
