AVOIDAVOIDAVOID!!! My wife took in a 2002 Cadillac Escalade 1 month after I took it in for a quote for a Brake Change. The Mechanics quoted me $ 280 for the front pads WITH labor. The Mechanics quoted my wife $ 500 for PARTSBEFORE labor. They then told her that the rear pads would be $ 200, then a $ 450 tune-up cost. When she asked why it was so much and expressed concern about the price, they started to stutter and back-pedal by saying, «Oh, well this is just a quote and we have to order these parts which is why this costs so much.» I don’t know what’s going on with Service Stations in the greater-Colesville, MD area, but it seems as though they all want to scam first-time customers as if that is going to give them long-term profits. This is the 3rd time we’ve been to a Service Station in Silver Spring and ALL of them have been scummy. Before you start thinking it’s just us, know that it isn’t. My friend owns a mechanic shop about an hour from Colesville, so I always double-check these quotes and parts prices with him. Mechanics use a Database called«All-Data» that estimates labor times for each specific vehicle and part replacement. These Colesville Mechanics are all Scammers. Can we PLEASE find an HONEST mechanic in the area for LONGTERM care!!! This is exactly what gives Mechanics a bad reputation.

This Gas station has an automotive service advertising heavily with oil change special. I had to come in twice, one after 3pm and once after 830am, both times they said no tech available.
