They did a great job framing my diplomas, and they were far more affordable than Michael’s or the other big craft stores.
They were also very patient when it took me a while to pick them up. I definitely plan to take my art there in the future!

I went to Artistic Framing after reading the reviews on Unilocal and I am so glad I did. I had two pieces framed at a reasonable price in a short time frame. The owner helped me pick out a mat and frame for one of the pieces and it turned out much better than if I had done what I originally planned. All around great experience! I will be back!

I have been coming here for more years than I can count. Anytime I need something framed, this is my go to place for framing. Quality is top-​notch and prices are reasonable. Hassan, the owner is very nice and is always patient and helpful. You won’t be disappointed.

I went here on the unanimous recommendations of my neighbors who said this was *the* place to get stuff framed. Talk about local knowledge my neighbors were exactly right. This small frame store is a local treasure. Knowledgable, fast, incredibly well priced. Could not have been happier with my experience. Artistic Custom Framing has been in business for 40 years and, if we are lucky, they’ll stay for 40 more.

For my Christmas gift-​giving this year, 2012 was the Year of the Print… I had 5 prints and paintings from local artists that needed framing. I think I’m generous with gift-​giving, but I do have a budget. I stopped by Artistic Framing in Wheaton planning to get a few of the prints custom framed, but wait and try to frame the others myself, with stock frames and mats, just to save a few bucks.
But I was pleasantly surprised at the price quotes that Artistic Framing gave me for the first two prints, so I decided to get them all custom framed by Artistic Framing. The price quote for a simple black wood frame, approximately 9×12inches, with mat, was in the same ballpark as the price of a stock frame and mat at the local art supply chain store.
I was very pleased with the quality of the framing, and was quite proud to present them as gifts. I’ll bring my own framing work to Artistic Framing in the future.

I almost hate to give away this secret, but Artistic Framing is the best framing store in the DC area (and I’ve been to lots). The frame selection is great, the prices are more than reasonable, and the workmanship is stellar. Hassan is willing to spend lots of time with customers looking at frame after frame and, if you want, he’ll give advice and guidance on how to make your art look fantastic. Recently, the store has begun showing and selling the work of local artists, which makes a trip there always interesting.
