Airport Taxi and Silver Spring Yellow Cab

I think, even one star is too high for this service. I made a reservation online to go to the DCA airport and received a confirmation. However, there was no taxi at the time I made the reservation for, I called to the phone number they provided but received only automatic message «all our representatives are busy.» I called four time begging to call me back, but have never received any call back. I had to call to other service and almost missed my flight. Do not use this service!

These guys are straight up rude. The guy claims to be a million dollar company and that they don’t need my business. He kept insisting i needed to give a credit card number over the phone even though i expressed 100x that i don’t feel comfortable with that. The rates are also double their competitors. I don’t understand how they are still running

Silver Spring Yellow Taxi (aka Montgomery County Taxi) is extremely rude, impatient, and I would not recommend anyone use their service. They fit your typical expectations of a DC taxi service. The «gentleman» asked for me to prepay the taxi so that we couldn’t cancel the reservation. I replied that I would like to pay at the end of the trip. Direct quotes from my phone conversation trying to book a flight to the airport «We don’t bullsh*t man, take her yourself». Then he hung up on me. Use a different service like barwood instead.
Additionally, you will notice that the other positive reviews from Google on this company are fake. «Sally and Joe Smith» clearly are not real people. There. You’ve been warned.

Tried to get a cab 4 hours in advance from Silver Spring to DCA, on a Sunday afternoon. Claimed they would not have a cab available. Look elsewhere if your going to the airport…
