So I wanted some pancakes. Making them at home wassent an option. I haven’t paid my light bill In eons. I went to this restaurant at the beckon of the«best breakfast in town» sign. The sign should have said«best bus boy in town«. His charming presence transformed a simple meal into hands down one of the most ok dining experiences of my life. Thus guy really knew how serve up some coffee. And also the water was divine. I mean, you can’t get water like that from the tap at home. Good old crisp clean refreshing H2O. So I ordered pancakes and they were good. Ten out of ten, would go again. Also, who put apple butter in the jelly rack? Very silly person.

Drifter has a GREAT Breakfast! You will see many locals frequent this place because it is good and kind of hole in the wall kind of place. This breakfast spot is dated, the décor looks like something from the late 70s, 80s and it does well for itself. It is located with a Motel and the Cocktail lounge is underneath the restaurant. Between our group we had Huevos Rancheros, Pancakes, French Toast and we steered cleared from the Menudo. All great food, the french toast comes with a tall serving of whip cream and strawberry. The chili — I got xmas, is great! I prefer the red to the green here. The service was really good, we had to wait a second while they cleared a table. Our waitress did a good job.

Slowest service I have ever encountered, bitchy wait staff and all for a barely average breakfast. Next time I would choose McDonald’s over this dump

I have been on a 4 month road trip and have dined at many local restaurants. The place is not clean and the booths were ripped. Our young waitress was very nice. I ordered the huervos rancheros and my friend ordered the cheese omelette. The hash browns were undercooked on half and burnt on the other half. My rancheros were 2 eggs sitting on one tortilla with a thick pasty sauce poured over. No seasoning. Tasted like a canned enchilada sauce. The refined beans were also thick and tasted like they scooped them out of a can without seasoning. My friend had to send back his omelette because it was cold as were the hash browns. Do not believe the sign saying best breakfast in town.

We stopped in while passing through the area. Wide variety of choices, lots of pancakes, some French toast and many skillets. I liked that they left the carafe of coffee on the table so we could give ourselves warmers as we needed it. Good prices.
