Siloam Springs Regional Hospital

This is the worst hospital I’ve ever been. My husband had to go to the ER and we got there around 11:30 PM. They were not busy with only one other patient and nobody waiting. The doctor did not see my husband until around 3:30 AM. He was given a shot that did not help his pain and a prescription that could not be filled at the pharmacy because the doctor did not put his «DEA» number on it. We returned to the ER to get that fixed but the same doctor was not there and they would not fix it without admitting him again. Also, they wanted to give him an EKG but he was not there for chest pains. They put it in his permanent records that he refused the EKG against medical advice. We will never go to this hospital again. I would rather go to Washington Regional with many waiting and still wait the same amount of time.

I know some hope the new hospital is better than the old one. Maybe they have the same people working. My wife is in labor and the things were beeping for like 10 minutes. I called the nurse and they didn’t even check to see if everything was ok. They came and pushed the silence button and left. Later my wife was in pain and I went out to see what was taking so long and there were 5 ladies just talking. When I asked about the med they said they were bringing 20 minutes ago they said they were getting it. Kid you not it has been 13 minutes since I asked. This is sad. 19 minutes later they finally came. Didn’t know they had to get the prescription filled first and no one cared to explain. Now my wife is doped up we will see how the rest of our visit goes. Well now it has come time for the epidural and the anesthesiologist ended up poking my wife 3 times before getting it in correctly. She lost feelings in her legs before meds and afterwards she is tingly in the chest and in her arms and hands. I cannot believe how crappy this is going. We have an amazing doctor and some pretty good nurses. The stars I give are because of them.
