I called Bob Peters FireProtection a year of so ago to see I see if I could recommend them for a contract at a terminal in the Port of Long Beach. First question was if anyone in their employ had a TWIC card(Transportation Workers Identification Credential) which is necessary to work anywhere in the Port. They said no and I told them it might be a good idea since the card only costs $ 135 and is good for five years. I called back a month ago and asked again and I was told they did have an employee that had the card. I recommended them at that point as work needed to be done and these type of businesses are not too plentiful. Well, they came out, looked at what needed to be done(a few hundred dollars at the very minimum) and said they’d find the parts needed and return. The facilities manager there at the terminal called repeatedly following up and was put off each time. They never called on their own with an update. The manager actually went into their office to ask if they could get it together and show up to do the work. Put off again. Finally the City of Long Beach fire inspector wrote the facility up for non compliance and issued a fine of $ 240 for some simple things not taken care of. Since I am related to the manager, I went down and took care of the simple repairs myself and made a few hundred(I happen to have the credential). So, Bob Peters Fire Protection won’t protect you from getting fined. Thank$, Bob, or whoever you are.

Well, glad new ownership has come to Bob Peters and I see they are focused on customer service and striving to work on a great reputation in Long Beach. I found them by a referral from a friend and they were priced right and came out to the Inland Empire and serviced and installed equipment on time and followed up with several calls from Laurie asking if service was satisfactory. As with my business, customer service and loyalty is important and I will keep going to Bob Peters for my service requests. Keep up the good work!

I had a wonderful experience dealing with the new owners. They are solution oriented so I came away with answers and not questions. I think their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work was perfect. I almost feel like I want to apologize that I don’t’ have any complaints because I almost never have that happen.

Okay, so they didn’t show on Tuesday, was hours to come install those things that put fire out called fire extinguishers, in complex, and well 11am-2pm came and went and I did what a concerned person for everyone safety at condo call Bob Fire Service, and guess what tech cant make it today, but tomorrow he can at 2pm, So I asked I take another day off and sleep another night without fire safety, OKAY, why not we have spent way to much time to get to this point of having a fire extinguisher, and oh he is installing exit signs, required by code? Oh yes Mr, didnt know my name even after all this delay. And guess what fire extinguishers finally installed today, but the two exit signs, OHHH no, so put fire out residents, but if cant guess how to get out during fire, so so sorry, this company is the worst, and with this type of economy, can they afford to be, I guess so, I cant believe I am only person that had this problem. STAYAWAY, unless safety and fire prevention is something you can wait about TWOMONTHS to get done, and let me tell you price tag, pulled it out of there I dont know back pocket.
