Woody’s BBQ was at Sierra Vista Fun Festival and we got their Smoked Turkey Legs. Probably the best tasting turkey legs I have had. They are smaller than ones you get at the Arizona Renaissance Festival but very flavorful. Had to wait about 20 – 30 min to get them but worth it. UPDATE: I was informed that I wrote about the wrong establishment. Woody’s BBQ no longer exists. The correct name to the owners of the wonderful BBQ that my family had at the Fun Fest is Big Woody’s Island BBQ. Sorry for placing the review on the wrong establishment.

I honestly don’t know if this food truck is still in business, but I’m posting this review in case they are and someone is thinking about going there. I’m no barbeque snob, but it was terrible. Really, really terrible. I actually felt insulted after eating this. Do they really think their customers are fools? There is no way the food was actually slow cooked or BBQ’d in any way. Based on the food taste, this is how I think the food was prepared. 1) Boil ribs 2) Baste with BBQ sauce*. 3) Place basted ribs over a trash can of burning newspaper 4) Knock off extra newspaper ashes. 5) Slather on more BBQ sauce*. 6) Throw in a styrofoam container. *may not actually be bbq sauce.
