I used the«to-go» function, calling in to Heather. Service: Outstanding. She knew the menu so well that even my crazy questions were answered quickly. I showed up to pay and Heather was amazing — efficient, polite and friendly. As I was waiting, Heather brought me a drink as well! She took great care of me and even explained where in the bag each of my items was at when she brought it to the car. This helped to serve as a check that everything was there as well as helping to figure out how to situate everything. Food: Everything I could have asked for. I had the Victoria filet — it was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The garlic mashed potatoes and the broccoli were great. The salad and bread were good. However, the best was the clam chowder. It was amazing! Best I’ve had since I lived on the coast. I highly recommend it. Saturday for lunch seems to be a great time to do Outback.

Service Review. We came in for supper this evening, 2⁄28. We were greeted immediately by the two hostesses up front and seated within a minute. Our server had our drinks to us in less than 5 minutes. We ordered an appetizer and our meals at the same time and they arrived in a timely manner, adequately spaced apart. My love affair with Outback started over a bowl of their loaded baked potato soup 8 years ago. Every time I am at outback, I order it. When I was pregnant, I ordered LBPS every single day for 5 months straight. Needless to say, I ordered an LBPS this evening. It was great as always. However, I did have a discrepancy with my soup, so I stopped eating, and quietly brought it to Stephanie L.‘s attention when she came back around with refills. She graciously retrieved the bowl back and the Mgr(I fail to remember his name), immediately brought over a new bowl and offered his apologies. I was very appreciative of that. Listen, this means a lot to me. My husband and I met while we were waiting tables 13 years ago. We have a working knowledge of how it is like when something bad beyond your control happens and customers rudely blame you for it. We are humans and mistakes happen. When I brought this to their attention, they remedied it quickly and quietly and we were all happy. End of story. I just hate having to bring up bad stuff to the servers because I hate«feeling needy». And they literally spend 4 – 8 hours of their lives 3 – 6 days a week getting asked for anything and everything. It’s a drag so I try not to be an a$$ about it. We had a great experience all around. My daughter was happy and was screeching loudly and we contained her here and there. I felt bad, but she was as controlled as could be for a 2 yr old. Our neighbor diners played peekaboo with her. I even breastfed her at our booth and not a word. Stephanie L. even made a point to get a goodbye out of my daughter. :-) Thank you all for your professionalism and discretion. It was very much appreciated. Just the restaurant as a whole. Thank you for being the Family Restaurant that you are!

We went on a busy sat night and were seated within 10 minutes of being there. The food was wonderful but pricey, but I also don’t expect to go to a steak place and not pay a little more. Service was also amazing. Don’t know the bad reviews but servers don’t stop me from enjoying my experience unless they are horrible or I never see them. But they have really stepped it up here. Will definitely be back :)

I am not sure what the previous reviewers issues were, but my experience with this Outback was very positive. Food was excellent, done to order, well plated and served by excellent and knowledgeable staff. Is it Ruths Chris? No, but then neither was the bill. We enjoyed our meal and will return the next time that we are in town.

Our food was awesome, but the biggest compliment needs to go to our waitress Lauren. She was so good with our kids and gave us great service! Defiantly will be returning.

4PM on a Sunday. We stroll in for a party of three. The hostess hands us a pager and tells us it will be 5 – 10 minutes. The interesting thing is ½ years place is empty. Seriously. Two hosts, a manager, and a waiter hanging out at the host desk. Then, when we get sat, we are sat right next table full of kids adjacent to the bathroom. Not really sure where I was going with this review, but it was a bad day. We will have to reevaluate this place in the future if we come back.

The food is great. However, the service is not. The last 3 times my husband and I went there we waited over 5 min before our server even came to our table and asked for our drink order. Plus we had to flag down our server for a refill of water(after an empty glass for about 10 min). The server didn’t know details about the food and said«I don’t think so» when I asked if there was an ingredient I am allergic to in a specific entrée. Silence… I had to then ask«Can you please check and let me know». I would think he would have said«Let me check on that for you» when I first asked. It was very awkward. Little pet peeves but when paying about $ 20 a meal per person I expect better service. It’s a shame because like I said, the food is really good.

Excellent service!!! Seth the manager helped us with a credit card issue and made us feel comfortable as we were already embarrassed but it all worked out and we felt he did an excellent job! The food was wonderful and had a wonderful experience and will come back many times

I have never had a bad experience at Outback. I have been a long time customer and this is without a doubt the best restaurant in SV.

Service is a killer in this town and has killed any chance of me returning to The Outback in Sierra Vista. After a few visits of getting average food with poor service I am calling it quits. The Texas Roadhouse is a much better experience in food quality and service.

As OBS goes, this one is pretty average. The food is pretty good, when it’s cooked correctly, but the service is kind of meh, especially for a slow Monday night. My bride always orders the«outback special» — medium. When she cut into her steak, it was had a sliver of pink left in it — more like medium well. The table behind us had the same problem — overcooked steaks. We don’t often send food back, but this time, we did after noticing we weren’t the only table getting the overcooked food. The manager was very cordial about it. The new steak came out perfect. Our server never brought us table utensils — I got up and swiped napkins/forks/knives from another table that had not been sat yet after my wife’s salad sat in front of her uneaten for a few minutes. Our server also did not check back with us within a few minutes of delivering our meals — instead we had to have the conversation with the manager about the overcooked steaks. When we pay the prices they charge at OBS, we just want things to be the way they were ordered.

Our Server was Brianna… The Food was Awesome… Prime Rib and Lobster Tail, was Excellent! Was not expecting the Flavor being so Mouth Watering. We had a wonderful Server in Brianna, Great Food… at an Affordable Price. Now that’s how to bring the Customer Back. The Management at this restaurant is Doing a Fantastic Job, making sure the Customer comes 1st. Also, the District Manager just happen to be there, So we had to let Kevin know what a great Restaurant this one, in Sierra Vista is, Every time We go in, The Staff is Friendly, Smiling, and willing to go that extra mile. So Thank — You Outback, in Sierra Vista, Arizona… Keep up the GREAT Job. The Specials are Awesome, Keep them coming*******

The food is delicious. Appetizers are very pricey. I tried the wood fired grilled steak but even though you can taste the woody flavor, there seems to be less seasoning. The prices are high, but most steak prices have been high for quite a while now everywhere. Not a place to go often if on a budget. Also, I noticed a lot of FAT on their streaks to the point where I feel it is a bit much for the price. Some fat is alright, but I cut a lot off of the ribeye that was not chewable. Last time I had the prime rib and that had a lot of fat too and when I showed the manager, I was told that I should expect a decent amount of fat on it. Not when the fat makes up over one third close to one half of the prime rib.

Revisited a few days ago for another try at their filet. This time, the steak was right on the money. Nicely cooked(med) and prepared. Only glitch — the asparagus was small and overlooked and complimentary beer bread was a tad hard. Service in the bar area was great considering a Friday night.

Feb 28, 2015 — Not bad had the pasta and chicken, house salad and desert, we’ve been there twice and both times the service was good, except for the fire alarm in which our meal was interrupted for 15 – 20 minutes while they waited to see what was going on(kind of confused the staff on if we should exit the building duhhhhhhhh). Once we returned back inside the table was cleaned and our meals came pretty quick, i would go there again and become fan. Nothing funnier than counting the lady next to me sucking down those 8 cocktails — she was too funny.

2 adults on a Monday night about 7:15, place about half full, sat down to a table quickly, ordered the Sangria and a Margerita, both cold and delicious. Ordered the Avocado and Crabmeat appetizer, was quite tasty and enough to split. Ordered a sirloin steak — Rare, salad and baked potato, all up to expectations. Waitstaff was friendly, yet professional. Hadn’t been to an Outback in a long time due to poor service at other locations. Only problem, and this is a corporate one, we see their ads on tv for specials, yet when we go to the restaurant, the specials aren’t available, interesting, Overall an enjoyable dinner out,

Excellent Grilled chicken. Loved my server too, she was very friendly and courteous. Too bad they were out of lamb chops. And out of pork chops. And out of sirloin.

We approached this location as tourists, having ventured down from Phoenix to enjoy the winery’s of So. Arizona. Beginning with somewhat lowered expectations, I was pleasantly surprised and highly satisfied with our experience here. Coming off of a long, long day of drinking wine in the unforgiving sun, I figured the waiters would have no mood for another group of cranky out-of-towners. Far from it. They empathized with our dehydrated state and swiftly brought us bread while we helped ourselves to complimentary cold, fruit infused water. Sobering up and seated at our table, the bread kept coming. I opted to try the horseradish crust on my filet along with a cup of the tortilla soup. Both were excellent! The meat was cooked well(medium-rare) and the flavors of the soup were outstanding. The horseradish crust was pretty hearty, so be ready for a mouthful. It was not as spicy as I would prefer, but added a nice touch. The only drawback of the evening was that they had run out of ribs. If that’s a common occurrence, I could understand some significant annoyance. Luckily, the menu is ripe with delicious options, including cake pops for dessert, that I heard were very tasty(included carrot cake, chock peanut butter and cheesecake). If you’re in the area, you can’t go wrong with this Sierra Vista Outback!

Out of prime rib @ 730pm? Is this a steakhouse or what?!? Settled for a ribeye only because I really wanted steak. Ordered med-rare and received Rare! Manager asked how everything was and offered a free dessert… WHAT? I didn’t come here to eat dessert! I normally Love Outback, but I’ve had Better Elsewhere!
