It’s worth 5 stars & the 4.5 hours drive! I ordered chicken adobo, pork belly, and halo halo.

Legit Filipino food in Sierra Vista! The pansit was too salty, but the adobo was nice. Can’t wait to try more of their dishes.

I have tried J’s more times than I can count. I love everything about her! I love the food, the selection, her and whoever is helping her. I have tried everything she offers and I would have to say hands down the wings are my favorite. Her prices are more than reasonable and you WON’T walk away hungry! I am not sure of her exact location. I have tried her at the Farmers Market, on Fry and JR’s. You will not be disappointed!

J’s kitchen is a food truck. Most of the offerings are of the Asian variety, however the day I visited, the special was chicken with an adobo sauce. I sampled the barbecue spareribs. Unfortunately two of the three spareribs were fatty, gristly and not very tasty, however, the third sparerib had an excellent flavor, you could taste the marinade, and was lean and tasty. The fried rice that accompanied the spareribs was only average though. The real highlight to J’s kitchen seems to be the beginning and the end. The wonton appetizers were light, fluffy, not at all greasy and very tasty. The sweet chili dipping sauce provided just the right flavor to munch on all of the tasty morsels. The sweet coconut cream dessert was a mouthful of tasty tidbits. Both texture and flavor were in equal balance and complemented each other with the light flavor of freshly shredded coconut, providing a satisfying crunch against the soft texture of the tapioca. It was the right amount of sweet with a indulgent creamy finish. Overall, I can say Jay’s kitchen provided a tasty and satisfying meal. Maybe it’s my expectation that a food truck should provide a unique experience along with mouthwatering flavors and memorable food offerings; because my first visit was not quite up to either of these parameters. Another visit will have to confirm raising a 3 star to 4 star rating and provide for an updated review. Overall rating: 3.5 stars. Food: 3.5 stars. Experience: 4 stars. Value: 3.8 stars.
