If you are a «organic» or «all natural» food eater, or maybe you like to just eat fresh produce, you need to get to the SV Farmers Market. It is twice ca week, Saturdays here and Thursdays over on Wilcox and Carmichael. If you go on Thursday you will have the full list of vendors there compared to Saturday’s. I’ve added this as one of the top 5 places to take my family for some chow. We get out and see the animals and soak up some sun. You have a lot of vendors cooking up breakfast or brunch and fresh bread, breakfast burrito’s… you name it they probably are cooking it fresh from the farm. This type of food and produce fresh is what we love in our family. If you ever can’t make it, drop by the local food coop which is owned and operated by local growers and consumers alike.

A small cluster of tents behind the church. It didn’t look like much but I’ll definitely be back. You’ll see signs at the intersection of Highway 90 that say«Farmers Market 10 am — 2 pm» Vendors include: BBQ truck man, homemade jams, natural soap, greens(kale, lettuce, etc.), Bisbee sourdough bread, imu eggs, plants, tai chi… and a few more! A few places took card but mostly it’s cash only. Produce looks fresh! I saw a few dogs so the place must be dog friendly. Things probably sell out quickly so it’s probably best to go sooner rather than later.
