Attention Sierra Vista: at long last there is a place to host a child’s birthday party besides your house, the park, the pizza parlor/arcade, the gymnastics place, and that one(and only) God-awful fast food play area where your child stands a 50⁄50 chance of catching a foot in the face, and/or Hep, in an elevated, rainbow-colored tube of death. Between the new shops«JLuv’s Cake & Ice Cream» and«Candy World» exists a little birthday party room, and at a very affordable price you can book that room and a JLuv cake. Be advised, the room is cozy. We had 8 kids in attendance and I believe any more than 10 would have been over capacity. But when I worried over the kids wandering in and out of either shop, Nicole, our party guide, put me at ease, saying, «It’s no problem. This is a place for children.» Which was, of course, not an invitation to let our party monkeys wreak ice-cream-singling, candy-flinging havoc, it was simply a huge relief knowing their wanderings weren’t annoying the staff. We were told ours was one of the first birthday events they’ve hosted, and we ran into a few guinea pig-like hitches, but all so minor they hardly stand out in memory. All told, our party was a hit and the cake was a winning combo of adorable and delectable. For a new business in its first year, finding its way, they did great, and I sincerely hope whomever finds their way to them has the same lovely experience. Thanks again, JLuv/Candy World!

Wonderful little shop with a huge variety of candy! I met the owner, who was very nice and accommodating, and found candy I hadn’t seen in years and none of it was stale! Great do-it-yourself coffee station. I visited on Sat, Nov 28 and enjoy spending my money to support local businesses rather than Walmart.

I visited this store on 10÷22÷15 with my three nieces. I expected a fun, kid friendly environment full of bright colors, lots of neatly displayed candy & happy staff. I was very disappointed. The whole process of getting the candy is a pain… Jelly Bellies separate from the other candy, candy displayed in plastic bins with plastic lids(like Tupperware), candy in this area or that area must be bagged separately and the checkout register so cluttered you can barely fit your bags of candy on the single scale. And the employee was very dull; no smile & seemed more intent on glaring at us instead of interacting. Quite frankly, I couldn’t wait to get out of there. We spent almost $ 40; so yes, we had pretty full bags of candy only to take them home & find that EVERY single piece we purchased was STALE! Unbelievable! This is really a shame because this could be a really fun & profitable place :(
