Worst, worst doctor ever for children!!! I completely agreed with Anil P. My daughter is 6 years old. He gave the same medicines as Anil P. He over dosage my daughter with medications. The pharmacist was having a hard time supplying those medications. The pharmacist suggest that I should go to children hospital to get a second opinion. My daughter was having very bad side effects that she end up in ER. It took over 6 weeks to get all the medications out of your system. Be aware of all the medications you get. I learned from this experienced is to google/read up on it before giving to my kids.

We ended up leaving and terminating his care for my son. We didn’t get very far. Dr L didn’t believe that diet would help alleviate my son’s condition. Even after I told him I’ve done some research. It’s been a few years and my son is still suffering and was placed on medication that wasn’t meant to be long term. I think he’s a good dr for treating symptoms. But not really getting to the root of the problem. He’s quick to medicate. He’s a kind dr just didn’t make sense why he didn’t think going gluten, or dairy free would help. We are now with another GI dr and she’s suggested a diet and immediately weening my son off of the medications. Kim is awesome and very helpful.

I really like this doctor and his staff(the Office Manager Kim was especially helpful!). My teenage daughter was having severe abdominal pain and was heading off to school across the country in less than10 days. I needed a diagnosis before I sent her off! The staff understood and got us in right away to see Dr Laurance. He assessed the situation and recommended further procedures(colonoscopy and endoscopy). My daughter was apprehensive and then the doctor did an amazing job of gaining her trust and getting her agreement to do these uncomfortable procedures, I was just so impressed! Then the doctor and staff made it happen to get her in right away for these procedures and then even scheduled another procedure at a different hospital so we had all the answers we needed for a proper diagnosis(Thank You Kim!). My daughter is working away at her freshman studies and is doing much better and so is her not-so-nervous father. THANKYOU!

best doctor I can find! I had tried a couple different gastroenterologist who did not want to treat the symptoms I was experiencing and once finally diagnosed did not want to treat as was ‘too hard for my body’ even though I explained that after having different symptoms on and off for the pass 2 yrs I was sure I can handle getting treated. I finally found Dr Laurance. and he right away began treating me. he was able to explain to me the alternatives the other physicians gave and how it was not recommended. he was very alert and attentive towards me. made me feel he really cared about my health snf well being. the office is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. the office staff is very friendly and helped me in any way possible to retrieve previous studies to have Dr Laurance review before I was seen. i will definitely be back in the future if needed…

Avoid this place like the plague! I took my daughter there for constipation and diarrhea hoping to get some answers. I found that Dr. Laurance was not a very good listener and was argumentative in his questioning as if I don’t know what I’m seeing from the child I’m raising. He recommended I put her back on formula even though she is more than a year old. Just unheard of! Especially for a child who is already dealing with constipation… Everyone knows that formula causes constipation. He was only concerned with treating her symptoms rather than getting to the root of the issue. The day before we were to return for another appointment after getting labs done, we were called and told that we were not a good fit and to find another GI. I was told that«he sees more than 30 patients per day» and doesn’t have time to spend on our child.
