I bought an engagement ring, and brought the ring to Baldwin Jewelers. The place was recommended by many of my coworkers, and I can see why. Berj reinforced the prongs holding the center diamond of the engagement ring. He handled the ring with great care, and more importantly, he maintained the artistic integrity of the ring’s original design. He did amazing work.

Exceptional customer service! My fiancé, his mother and and I were visiting family in town. We had picked up my engagement ring while on the way here and I wanted to wear it. I found Baldwin Jewelers on Unilocal and went in to see if I could get a ring guard for temporary sizing. They service was unbelievable. While he started on the ring guard he asked how I found his shop and mentioned I could use the Unilocal discount. He then showed me how to adjust the ring guard and told me about it. I’m also pregnant so the adjustable ring guard will be perfect throughout pregnancy (his recommendation).

Words cannot fully express how happy & appreciative we are of the excellent service & treatment by Berj. Not only is his knowledge of diamonds superior, but he always goes above & beyond, spending time with us explaining the intricate details one must consider when buying a diamond.
On our most recent visit today, Berj took care of us, (when it was closing time), to mount a diamond. As always, he was gracious & patient, & his work was outstanding. We are always inspired & intrigued by the passion & pride he has in his craft.

Berj knows diamonds! I’ve contacted several jewelers to discuss fixing my wife’s diamond ring and Berj (during the first call) did not give me a price like the others. He took the time to explain the importance of fully examining the ring and why it needed to be examined before recommending the best option to fix it. He did a wonderful job and my wife was so happy with the results. To top it all off, it was on our anniversary Berj fixed the ring and he completed the work the same day! Anyone who feels the importance of «old fashion» customer service and family oriented business, please stop by Baldwin Jewelers and see Berj and his mom Hilda! They are wonderful people who knows the jewelry business!

I love this Jewelry store! My now husband first went in to look for my engagement ring. Berj was very accommodating and helpful. My husband knew NOTHING about diamonds and Berj took his time and educated my husband. I am so grateful for that. My ring is stunning. Berj made it custom for us. He is a true and honest jeweler with a real talent. In fact, I loved my engagement ring so much I had him custom make my wedding band! It was done on time and even better than I had hoped for. I would recommend this Jeweler to anyone. I have actually sent in all my friends and relatives. I bet you will get a better quality item at a better price there too! I am always happy and will continue to go back!

I have been a customer for over 8 years, dropping in to have watch batteries replaced in both high and low priced pieces. Turn-​around time is quick. (within an 30 – 60 minutes most days). I trust the owners and have recommended them several times for jewelry repair. In addition, we have purchased several watches from them. Though I don’t wear much jewelry, their vintage stuff looks great. Now that we have moved 30 minutes away, I save my repairs for a trip to Sierra Madre and Baldwin Jewelers!

The jewelers at Baldwin Jewelers are fantastic. I was recommended to go to Baldwin by friends that have used the store for sentimental jewelry for years. I drive 25 minutes to get there, but it is worth it. Three times they have repaired items for me — restringing pearls, watch bands, setting stones in necklaces, and each time, they did a great job, at reasonable prices. I only will have Baldwin Jewelers touch my jewelry. They also have an interesting selection to purchase from modern to estate pieces. Very nice people.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10 yr. wedding anniversary and we wanted to get something unique. Berj was so friendly, knowledgable, and patient! Which is sometimes hard to find in LA. He really gives you his honest opinion about what ring suits you best. I appreciate that. I chose an antique ring from the 30’s, which he gave us a reasonable price on. He also sized and polished the ring. Great service! I will definitely return to Baldwin Jewelers in the future!

I have been here multiple times to get my wedding ring dipped in white gold, prongs tightened, and have my wedding ring welded together to my engagement ring. Recently I had to have it resized and had another amazing experience. The owner is friendly and professional. He treats your jewelry like his own. I bought my fiancés ring from here, which I thought was going to be a stressful endeavor, but the people here made it a remarkably easy process. They were attentive, patient, fair, and delightful to work with. The prices were outstanding considering the high quality and customization they offer. My fiancé absolutely loved the ring!

I took the ring my grandmother gave me (from her childhood) to get fixed and have a clamp added to. The jeweler took two pieces off the front of the ring without asking me before hand. The ring also seems to have had some gold taken off the ring as it seems thinner. My ring looks worse than when I first took it in. I’m completely dissatisfied and will not ever use their services again.

Baldwin Jewelers is such a fun place to visit and I wouldn’t trust my jewelry in the hands of anyone but Berj! He is so skilled, knowledgable and passionate about his business. There is an impressive collection of vintage watches that I could stare at all day. The service is wonderful and friendly and the prices are totally reasonable. Berj is focused on the details that other lesser jewelers might miss — like the buckle on the Cartier watch he restored for me and helped me pick out the perfect replacement band for. A must stop for anyone just visiting the charming town of Sierra Madre!

It’s hard to find a jewelry store where the employees aren’t hovering over you making you feel pressured. The employees here are very relaxed and will show you everything and are very patient and will answer all your questions.
Be aware that once you’re in there, you’ll want to buy everything!
They have a few nice cases in the center of the store with really unique stones and jewelry. My stepmom bought a rare turquoise ring called Crazy Horse Turquoise from Arizona. Look it up! it’s really cool.

I have been going to Baldwin Jewelers for 4 years now. We bought my husband’s wedding ring there. I recently had my wedding rings (antique) and my Tiffany ring repaired there. I would trust Berj to do any work. He is very knowledgeable. He also has uniquely designed jewelry that he has created himself. I wish I would have found him before I got ripped off and had poor work done at a jeweler in Pasadena.
