Five Star Appliance Repair

Matt came to my home and quickly diagnosed the problem with my 3 yr old LG refrigerator. He was courteous despite the fact that I missed my first appointment. Within a week he had a new part installed and my refrigerator was functioning again. He was knowledgeable and professional. I am completely satisfied.

Good job. Arrived on time on the day scheduled. Diagnosed the problem. Ordered the part. Called about one week later to schedule a time to install part. Schedule appointment for the next day. Again, he showed up on time on the day scheduled. Completed the repair and thoroughly checked out the washer before leaving. Highly satisfied.
Just had Five Star out to repair the same unit.
During his first visit, the technician advised me that I would probably soon have trouble with the machine spinning the clothes. He was right. The drum now spins off balance and the clothes come out very wet. However, he denies ever saying so. He says the problem is the detergent I am using. How can detergent make the machine spin off balance? He was looking to blame anything he could without even running the machine. I sensed a bad attitude from the technician from the time he saw the machine. I had finally had enough and told him to get out. He did so but he pushed my storm down with such force, it almost broke.
Amazing. I had such a good experience with this company and technician the first time and the complete opposite this time. Do you want to gamble on who shows up at your door, Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde?
