Southgate at Shrewsbury Retirement Community

My grandmother has lived here for 5+ years now and it’s a great community for her. They have smaller apartments and larger ones so when she and my grandfather first moved in they started with a two bedroom and once he passed she only had to wait a few months to move into a smaller place.
Everyone is very friendly and respectful. My only complaint is a few years ago they switched food providers for the Café and the food and service is a bit below average. Just like the government, there is no competition in this market so I understand why. I can’t speak for the dining room as I hardly go there.
Although rather expensive, I would recommend this place for a nursing home with attentive staff and people who truly care!
