Like the other reviews, the pharmacy is horrible (store is just fine, however). Spent an hour waiting to pick up a prescription in the drive thru lane. They clearly need to hire more pharmacy staff. If you have an insurance coverage question on a script… good luck.

If I could give this CVS zero stars, I would. The pharmacy is the worst ever! My pills are never filled in time and there is always a line all the way down the aisle no matter what time of day I come. I absolutely dread it! And the employees are neither friendly nor helpful!

SOS, different day.
Calling or ordering ahead is a waste of time. Not ready, again. Typical.
NOW I’m told there is a problem with insurance because some CVS moron entered my child as the primary cardholder instead of a dependent. I just gave them the new insurance card 10 minutes ago, so I can only assume that the person telling me «someone» entered it wrong is the same idiot just covering her ass.
Now I have to sit for hours hoping that someone working an IT help desk somewhere on a Saturday afternoon can «fix the glitch.»
Is there another 24-​hour pharmacy in Shrewsbury? I really need to switch.

This particular CVS is God awful. Never enough cashiers and always busy. If you need a prescription filled don’t come here. Dropped off 2 scripts at 1 and asked to pick up at 4. It’s now 4:22 and I am still sitting here waiting for them to fill them. Good thing it’s not life or death! Walgreens 100 feet away is much better.

I wish i could give this Pharmacy 0 stars. Horrible Horrible service. I have always had Walgreens and wish i could go back.
The Pharmacists are terrible, no manners!
The techs are at least pleasant but very lousy at their job.
There is always an issue with prescriptions here. At one point i had to wait 1.5 hours to pick up prescription for my sick child because they couldn’t find it in their system. I had to personally call the insurance because they couldn’t do jack. Turns out the tech wasn’t entering his name correctly (really?!?).
Being a Dietitian it pains me to see how healthcare is suffering when it comes to this Pharmacy.

Slow and always there is a problem with prescriptions. Always always problems here at the pharmacy! But I would give it a four star for the store side they are night and day compared to the pharmacy.

CVS says online that you cannot return the prescription drugs ordered online due to legal reasons but this place does not even accept the prescription drugs returns which are not ordered online, the healthcare system here is even worse than those of 3rd world countries.
For antibiotic you hand in the prescription and then wait 15 minute to an hour for your medicine, try to buy an antibiotic in a 3rd world country you will get the same brand medicine at a fraction of price and cost and in less then 30 seconds guaranteed.
So CVS and all other pharmacies are a complete failure. Other than that there staff never seems to understand any question.

need a better system to pick up prescriptions. 10 people in line, pharmacist calls your name after you’ve already waited in line once, now you can wait in the line again.
i didn’t because i’m impatient, had already waited an hour, and had 2 sick kids at home (10pm), but that wasn’t very well received by the folks in line.
EDIT — THIS HAS IMPROVED GREATLY, THANK YOU CVS
