Here’s my review of the store, «Not too good, Bitch.» The owner looked at me like I was a slob when I brought in my comics, because I’m not particularly into them. I knew one of my books was worth $ 1000 near mint, and it was in amazing condition, but he offered me twenty dollars. He then belittled me in front of his associates, and told me to walk my «crater face» out of his store when I refused his offer. This was quite triggering and I will never step foot in there again.

Great little store with nice balance of new, rare and bargain comics.

It took a little while, but I do believe I’ve finally found my local comic book store! It’s small for sure but what they lack in space they make up for in a friendly and incredibly helpful staff. I stumbled upon this shop a couple weeks back after being unable to find what I was looking for at Jay and Silent Bob’s and having long been turned off by the rudeness of the staff at Comics Plus. It seemed that every time I went into one of the latter two stores and asked for something that they didn’t have, I was just given a brusque«No.» Never«no, sorry» let alone«would you like us to order it for you?» At Amazing Stories, not only did the owner(?) immediately offer to order the comic I couldn’t find, but also called a customer who he knew to have ordered the comic in the past and was given the OK to pull it from their box. I went from dismay at not seeing the book on the shelf to having it in my hands within 5 minutes. Now that’s what I’m talking about. I’m not as into comics as I used to be but I wish I was so I’d have more excuses to stop by!
