Thrifty Discount Liquor & Wines 10

Scuzzy, scary, dirty, nasty, gross-​and that’s just a description of the employees at this location near LSU-​Shreveport. Not to mention, there’s nothing thrifty whatsoever about the pricing of liquor here and the selection leaves quite a bit to be desired. The prices here are high, high, high. This store is rundown as are many of the patrons. I know it’s a liquor store but this place truly does reek of desperation. I thought being located in a nicer area would equate this particular branch with at least somewhat higher standards and quality. I can honestly say the last time I set foot in this store, it was in 1995, and I can honestly report back to you that in almost 20 years, nothing has been done to this place. At all. It has aged poorly, like the booze has somehow effected this place physically. It stinks. It literally stinks. Never again. Never again. Never again, will I step into this establishment. If you like ordering up your booze in tight quarters similar to a bull’s chute at a rodeo and being barked at by employees, then belly up to the counter here! Uncomfortable! Awkward! Yucky! Icky! And expensive!

Great selection of Beer, Wine & Spirits. Also best prices on Tobacco in town. All this with money left over to pay my bills at their service counter!
