The chicken and biscuits just melt in your mouth! And, the yams too! Absolutely delicious. I’ll be back.

Had some amazing BBQ from these fine people. The ribs were fantastic and the chicken was fall off the bone perfect. I was especially fond of the smoked sausage. This is a family run business and they all have the heart and desire to make every customer as happy as can be. Always service with a smile and not to mention a portion that is worth paying for.

This place is awesome! I’ve probably eaten here 100 times. Not fancy. But, really good food. The only complaint I have is the portions are too big. Lol.

I had to go back and upgrade this place… simply a case of you dont know what you have until you don’t live here anymore! Hate that we don’t have anything like this at home.

Taylors is a great home cookin kind of place. Ordering is somewhat stressful since you go through the line and have to make quick decisions or you hold up the line! I felt a bit like Seinfeld trying not to get thrown out of line for breaking the code…=).
I opted for the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, squash, greens and hot water cornbread. Each meal comes with Peanut butter or strawberry cake. I went with peanut butter, and it was the right choice. The meatloaf was really moist, and the tomato based sauce was a perfect match for the meat and mashed potatoes. The greens were done right. I can never get mine to come out like this.
It cost 10 bucks with a drink, and I have no complaints. I’ll come again for sure if I’m ever in Shreveport.
