I actually love Pope’s. It is a little too high-end for me, but they have really nice clothing lines and ALWAYS have something new and interesting in the store. I’ve never been and not bought something. I will say that their clothes are a bit overpriced, but you should know what to expect before you walk in. The guys that work there are really helpful and nice and as long as you’re courteous and respectful, you will definitely become a repeat customer. They have GREAT clothes here and are in my opinion the last remaining nice shop for guys left in Shreveport/Bossier.

I brought my husband here to shop for clothes for his work. I grew up in Shreveport and told him when we come back for a visit he would have to try the suits from Pope’s. When we arrived, my husband asked to use the restroom before beginning his shopping. The associate quipped, «Restrooms are for customers only.» Lost a customer —-

This place put the shee in shee-shee, matched fancy with schmancy, and put the xxxxx in exxxxxpensive! Sure the clothes are very, very nice. Absolutely! I love the clothes! But this is Azalea Drive(I checked the street sign!) and not Rodeo Drive! I do love this store, I always have ever since clothing began to matter to me, and having a sense of style, and dressing for success, and how you dress is how you will be addressed and all that… but guys, if you do buy some clothes from here, you’ll feel like a million bucks… because that’s what you just spent!
