The good– The pizza is tasty and they have gluten free crust, which is a must for my family. They have a lot of good options and the manager is nice. The bad– They ALWAYS mess up our order. Every single time something is wrong. Additionally, the wait staff in the restaurant is generally pretty miserable. I rarely don’t tip, but I have not tipped a couple of times here. Overall I would probably give this place a 2.5 stars, if I had the option. I would also probably recommend to try Franks or somewhere else if you want interesting pizza and don’t have to be gluten free.

Pieworks is hands down the best pizza in town! I also love their pasta and sandwiches. Also, many of my family members are gluten free and pieworks is one of the few places that has a gluten free crust that is delicious. Everytime my family visits, we go to pieworks for the gluten free crust! They have a great beer selection and a nice patio with brand new tvs and fans for when it gets warm out! If you haven’t been there, you’re missing out!

Went there a couple times and I give up. lol Food was okay. Service was hmmm… They don’t have enough waiter/waitress. Both times I went there, there was only one waiter/waitress to take care a whole restaurant. It’s like hmmm… what happened? The last time I went there, the waitress didn’t know anything about their specials or even happy hour. I only love their breadsticks, but I don’t care for their pizzas. $ 2 Margarita was okay, but I will not be going back for just the margaritas.(breadsticks maybe lol)

Oh my gosh what has happened to this place. Only ones here and service is so slow. Asked for kids menus because they have them at Provenance location… no kids menu. Ask for Stella Artois because they have a poster on door. Sorry we don’t have that. Waitress doesn’t know anything. Asked what others beers on tap… responded i don’t know. Had to get up and look for myself at bar. No one else in restaurant and it still took over an hour for three salads and a pasta roban that was so spicy(I eat nothing but spicy food) it was nkt even edible. It looked like whole jar of red chili flakes in pasta. Then had to pay over $ 50 for salads that were not any better than the grab and go at Walmart deli. I guess this is why no one was there. Absolutely worst dining experience since appetizers graced shreveport for two weeks.

Cute pizza joint with a full bar. Can’t complain!

Our visit to pie works was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a while. The atmosphere was open and inviting. We had the Baked Feta as our appetizer and it was wonderful. Our Seahorse pizza was fantastic and their handmade crust is amazing. The service was quick and pleasant. We enjoyed our entire experience at Pie Works.

If you are on the fence about trying the pizza from Pie Works, then don’t hesitate, just do it! I heard this place was voted best pizza in Louisiana, so i wanted to try it out. So my first visit was earlier this week. My wife and I took my son here for dinner on his 16th birthday a few days ago. Hands down, this is THEBEST pizza we have ever had the pleasure of eating in the Shreveport area. The bread sticks and the wings were pretty good too. And the young lady who waited on us gave us absolutely SUPERB service! I can’t remember her name though. They were even so nice as to let us bring in a cake for him ahead of time, and they held it in the kitchen until we arrived for dinner. Then after dinner she brought out the cake complete with lit candles, and started singing Happy Birthday. A LOT of restaurants will not do stuff like that for you. I’m so glad I found this place, and they have great pizza AND great service! This will now be my «Go-To» pizza joint every time I’m in the mood for pizza. Screw Dominos and Papa Johns, I’m going get me some REALPIZZA!!! And best of all, the prices are VERY reasonable.

Great bread sticks. I could go just eat them. Has a good lunch menu for a smaller personal pizza. They also have a lot of toppings to pick from. I did try some of their icream last time I went and that’s something to skip.

This is what pizza was meant to be. I got eggplant parm pizza. Very good and unusual. Wonderful breadsticks. Also, they had $ 2 margaritas(reg, strawberry and strawberry mango). Nuff said? :)

Incredible pizza! Perfect combinations of fresh toppings along with some of the best pizza dough you’ll ever have. The new manager(Chef) came over and spoke to us briefly. You can just tell that he ooze’s with desire to turn this little known place into the best pizza spot in town.

This is the best pizza I have found in town. Service has always been very good. They have a few of the local beers. If you like a good pizza this is the place. If not I can point you in all kinds of directions. This town is full of bad pizza.

Not impressed. Food was average. Drinks stayed empty. One of our plates was undercooked. Many tables were not clean and bathrooms were filthy. Boxes in the hallway blocking rear exit. Needs a lot of attention on their Atmosphere. If the hang a sign that says under new management I may return but most likely will just pass by.

Read great things on Unilocal and had to stop in while road tripping down south! Split a small pizza with my boyfriend, pesto based with fresh green peppers and spinach, and crispy bacon on(my) half. It was filling and excellent. My folks got a medium garlic butter base, half hot sausage and half margarita which they really enjoyed. Very accommodating restaurant as far as splitting up toppings! And with excellent waitservice! I only wish we had a pie works in Tennessee!

Very tasty pizza here with lots of options. We also got the breadsticks which were much larger than expected and very good. A choice of 3 dipping sauces was nice. The restaurant was clean and all the staff we encountered were all polite. It looked like about half the seats had huge tears in them and need to be replaced.

Great tasting pizza! I get the 5-card stud or pepperoni when I order. Both are really great tasting with lots of ingredients. Service is always on par and I’ve never had ask for my drink to be refilled. You should try it sometime.

I have high standards for pizza and this is your best bet in Shreveport, but still a maybe three star place tops. Had a much better experience dining in and they have some good beer on tap. Take out experience was disappointing and they messed up two of the three pies.

Wow, it’s like myself and those other reviewers are talking about two totally different places. I just moved to this city, and have eaten at Pieworks no less than three times. And every time, the food was consistent and delicious. As a vegetarian, I love the veggie options on the pizza menu. It’s nice not to just eat a pizza full of onions every now and then, and even nicer to stray from the traditional vegetables you get at chain pizza joints. The service every time has been nothing but nice, accommodating, and eager. To those complaining about the price of the food, if you want fresh quality products it costs more. You can always just go sit at the local pizza hut if you want things to be cheaper. This place offers a great quality pie crust as well. Try the dark wheat crust. you will never find a tastier wheat crust. All in all, I’ll be back. Probably not everyday, but at 9 for a filling pizza with 6 slices. it will be frequently.

I think there pizzas are really good. The service was busy the few times we went in so I didn’t expect someone every 5 mins to come to our table outside plus iI hate that… We ordered a salad and shared it while we waited for our pizza. No complaints on the food. If you want something different and sick of papa johns and dominos check this place out…

I’m just not a fan and have had pieworks a few times. I want to bump it up to a three, but would I go back? Probably not. I find the food uninteresting, despite the attempts at straying away from a more traditional pizza. That being said, I still appreciate that it adds a bit of variety to the town. I’ve also found that the servers are highly inexperienced.(Although nice) Our server kept forgetting what we ordered and in the end ordered me the wrong item even though she had asked me twice. When we told her that it was the wrong item, she did nothing to rectify the problem and charged for the higher priced item as well. The place can be quite short handed. In summary, it isn’t my cup of tea, but I can see how it might be a fun place.
