Workers are polite, food is good. However, the drive-thru menu is very difficult to read. There’s really no rhyme or reason to it. They got my order wrong but I wasn’t really upset because I like everything on the menu. I’ll be back, just not through the drive-thru.

I LOVEKFC. That is no secret. What I don’t like about all of the big chicken franchises, is how expensive they all seem to be getting. We’re talking chicken, not turkey. Should be the cheapest thing with feathers and wings. Doesn’t seem to be that way anymore. Seems these days, I can’t get outta one of the big chicken shacks(KFC, Popeye’s, Church’s) without spending close to, or over ten bucks pretty easily. Fried chicken used to be a cheap meal. Not anymore. Two specific things that cheese me off about KFC, is their devotion to Pepsi products(they are owned by Pepsi, I believe, along with Taco Bell and Pizza Hut). And also here locally, KFC got rid of the all-you-can-eat buffet that they used to have. They got rid of it years ago, but they still have it down in south Louisiana… I’ve seen them as recently as this past March. I like this KFC on Youree. It is my neighborhood KFC. Although, I feel the interior could use a bit of updating(a la Wendy’s!/McDonalds — shoot, even Taco Bell and Pizza Hut have had recent overhauls and facelifts-what up, Pepsi???) And this store and all local stores could really bring the buffets back, which would coincidentally also bring sexy back… nevermind!) I did approach this store via the drive thru entry strapped with a coupon and ordered 10 piece bites original recipe(It’s why you go to KFC!) combo which came with potato wedges(Not a HUGE fan of wedges of any type-too much potato action for a man flirting with 250 lb… I’m about a wedge away from 250) Aaaand a Diet Pepsi, no ice, to drink(I know!) all for $ 4.99 plus tax. One of these days, when I’m rich, I’ll actually order a bucket of the good stuff. Until then, I’ll stick with the bootleg Colonel, scrimps and scraps… but still original recipe! It’s not the bites that I order, or the food that bites, it’s the price that bites!
