How have I missed this gem for so long? The chicken fingers and fish are amazing, service is incredible and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely be back.

Dennis the owner is awesome! The wings are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. I had to order more. The fish fillet was great too. The breading is light and crisp.

Great food and easy to get to off the interstate. Dennis is fun to talk to and you will not go wrong with anything you get.

Great place for a quick lunch. Chicken tender plate was very good and husband had the fish filet and he said it was cooked and seasoned just right. Small local place with a very nice owner. Open 11 – 2 during day and then opens again at midnight. Try them you will be pleasantly surprised.

Looking for hot tasty and great fried food??? This is the place… not your sisters health food but delicious fish, chicken, and fried shrimp. The owner, Dennis is very friendly (also a Harley D guy!) so my kind of place… clean and fast. Definitely give it a try.

I’m from out of town and here for work. I saw I Fry on Unilocal and decided to give it a try for lunch. I’m glad I did. The food was tasty and hit the spot. I got the chicken tenders combo and added 4 wings. The owner threw in a free meat pie for me to try… I wish he thew in a couple more. The tenders were delicious. The wings were crispy and breaded… I prefer breaded wings over naked wings. The meat pie left me wanting more. The owner was very friendly and likes strike up a conversation while your food is being prepared. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is because it’s take out only. There are a couple tables in there to sit and eat but it doesn’t real feel like a place you would sit and eat. Don’t be put off by that fact though and give this place a try. I’ll be back to try the catfish and get more meat pies.

Unilocal reviews hit a homerun covering I Fry. Place isn’t much to look at but it’s all about the food and the friendly owner. Crispy, light beading with streaming juicy chicken and fish that wasn’t greasy at all. I would’ve asked for a cooking lesson if I hadn’t been busy chewing. Do yourself a favor and visit this shop.

I would give this place 5 stars if only they provided a toasted bun or something other than two slices of bread for the sandwiches. *_​* But overall, this place is amazing! Fried fish, wings, chicken fingers are amazing, and the owner is more than amazing. He is cute, lovely, friendly, kind and cool! ^_*

We tried I Fry based on Unilocal reviews while traveling to Alabama. It’s easy to get to and from I-​20. It was SUCH a tasty treat for lunch, and the owner has a great personality. We got the chicken and the catfish plates and they were freshly fried, hot, crisp on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. The taste was perfect. We definitely will stop on our way back home.

Excellent Catfish, Chicken, and Shrimp! On a long road trip, definitely worth the stop even if you have to go out of your way. Service was very friendly and exceptional.

Dennis and Debbie have made «I Fry» a labor of love. Our family stopped in for lunch while traveling down I-​20. We ordered a #6 combo and found that for $ 23 we were amply fed. The catfish is white and flaky, the chicken lived up to its billing as the best tenders in the area. The seating area is small, you won’t get more than 3 – 4 people at a table.
Along with generous portions for the money, we were also offered several sauces: hot, tartar, Ranch, honey mustard, and ketchup. While there we got to meet several of the regulars, which added to the experience.
If you are looking for delicious fried food in the Shreveport area, look no further. I Fry is an excellent choice, and close enough to the interstate for a quick stop.

I had the fried fish with the french fries and hush puppies. It was the best thing I ate during my visit to Shreveport! I’m going to go there every time.

Stopped by the other day because I love catfish, and the reviews on here caught my attention. Spot on reviews. Owners agree extremely cool people, and the fish was perfect. It is a small spot without much seating, and the hours are after lunch and late night crowd. If you can make it in, don’t miss out. I wish I would’ve discovered it quicker.

The only downside is that they just have a few small tables inside and a table outside with several comfortable chairs. This isn’t a fancy — looking place to impress your date your 1^st time out. You get your food in Styrofoam containers. I suspect most of their business is to-​go.
The owners (Dennis & Debbie) are extremely friendly and more than make up for the above mentioned downside with their warm Southern hospitality. Then, the food! Wow!
I went there with my wife and 2 small kids and we all shared their Combo #6 which comes with 2 fish fillets, 4 chicken tenders, 4 wings, a lot of fries, and 2 drinks for $ 23 and we added 6 fried shrimp for an additional $ 6…and a couple more drinks.
When the owner found out we wanted to eat at the outside table, he went outside and straightened everything up and took an additional chair out for us. Also, as we were eating, he checked on us several times to make sure we were satisfied with everything and if we needed anything.
We were very hungry big-​eaters and we all left stuffed. Shane’s Seafood and the other local fish and seafood places need to come learn from this guy. He knows how to fry! None of it was fried up ahead of time. Everything was perfectly seasoned and extremely moist with no strong fishy taste. I can’t overstress how delicious everything was. Do yourself a favor and go try this place soon. We’ll definitely be returning.

Amazing! Great fish, great chicken, and super friendly people. My husband and I went in today for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and everything was fresh and well fried without being greasy.
There was even funnel cake! The first time I’ve had one outside of a fair!
