Worst customer service, ever! Most of the employees are extremely rude when they wait on you, no hello, no thank you, they don’t even tell you your total or count back change and they give you a mean and hateful look while they wait on you. They simply take your money and give you change with no words spoken. Hell, a robot could do better than that! Most seem to be very poorly trained too, as they have very long, slow moving lines most of the time. Obviously they are poorly managed. Outside, you have to ward off vagrants begging for cigarettes or money, which is so bad for business. Just a few weeks ago a customer was stabbed at the gas pump for refusing to give money to a beggar and still no effort to stop them from hanging out. The particular store I am speaking of is, or was, beautiful and brand new. You would think that the regional managers would want their very best, quality personnel in this location, but instead they only have a couple of good clerks and the rest are rude, ill-trained and, disrespectful. I try to avoid going to this location and only do so when I absolutely have to. I now have to go out of my way, but it’s worth it to get some kind of customer appreciation and service. The store location I am speaking of is Circle-K on Line and Olive street in Shreveport.

Easily the best of the four Circle Ks within 3 miles of my house, and the only one that’s open 24 hours. It has all you could ask – a dirty bathroom and flickering lights, gasoline and cigarettes. All the wounded and broken staggerers wandering in at all hours, and always a police car in the parking lot. At the peak hours of the day it can become clogged and frustrating, but one must learn to suffer hardships. One of the only setbacks is the store’s weird magnetism: if you arrive and find it barren and alone, before you leave the store, Thirst Buster and honey bun’d, you will find a half dozen cars in the lot, and more arriving every minute, moths to the flame, hungry and alive in the night.
