This is a great place for a nice dinner. It is also the best tex-mex place in Shreveport. The cinco Rita is the best drink there but you can’t go wrong with their house margarita. The salsa alone is worth a drive by.

Had the beef chimi… Very very salty. Atmosphere quite nice Service«blah» Bartender was kind, but manager appeared to not want to be bothered. When I asked for silverware– he pointed at some several feet away and said — there’s some… When I gave him the«eye» he grudgingly passed it to me:-( Will probably not return…

I did not like the cold salsa at all, and the warm was below average. The server seemed inexperienced and the food looked good but the taste of it was nothing to speak of. Disappointed because I thought this was going to be a nice Mexican restaurant.

consistently good food and experience. whether we’re there just for a drink and appetizer or in a bigger group, the service has always been top-notch for us. I’d prefer a little more tropical background music like the CL in Lewisville or even on Westheimer in Houston but.. .hey.. .it’s Shreveport.

Highly recommend the enchiladas Veracruz. A little pricey but overall everything is great.

Service was slow and food was overpriced. We were there year’s ago & loved it. The food quality wasn’t as good as hoped. The rice was too salty to eat. The outdoor seating was good but not worth the premium price.

The food is overpriced, and the staff has major attitude. There are many better choices, skip this place.

While the food is always good, the staff is often a bit snobbish. There is usually a wait at dinner time. They seem to be irritated when you bring kids. Food is good tho.

Try the table-side guacamole and the Caliente Flaca Flap Margarita! I have tried many Menu items and never disappointed.

Sunday Brunch is awesome! They give you a complimantary cocktail with your meal! I love it. Food is yummy too! You need to order the right dish. This is just like the other restaurants, some dishes are yummy and some are not. I just got the ones that were right for me and they were yummy! I loved it. I loved the Ceviche, Chicken Fajita Omelet and Chorizo Con Huevous. :”) Service? Oh— it’s lovely! I come here a couple times and both times service were lovely and friendly. Both my servers were boys and very nice. Only the hostess at the door(Mon Dec 14, at 4 pm) was not very welcoming, but I didn’t care. lol I would recommend this place for your Sunday Brunch and/or late evening with your date. Their cocktails are good. :”) I will be coming back with my loving husband. ^_^

Not very nice people. The food was not that great for their prices. The rice was dry and cool when I received my meal. The cheese on the beans wouldn’t melt for the food being cold. Too expensive for the quality of the food. I won’t be going back. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but the waiter was rude and food was terrible!

I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times and I can’t stop coming back for more! Food: The ceviche and botanos platters are my favorites! Ambience: Dining area, the bar, or outside on the patio– take your pick! I prefer the bar. Service: The service is always on point. They are great about keeping the drinks and chips and salsa coming!

Always great!!! Love the smoky warm salsa and smoky grilled chicken taste of their food! Also love the strawberry and mango margaritas! This place is awesome every time! Fresh ingredients!

Very creative menu. Food is good. Upscale Mex food — if you want regular tacos and enchiladas this isn’t the place for you. I have had enchiladas with artichokes and other interesting ingredients. Good tequila/margarita selection.

The food was par and the service was even worse. Took more than 15 minutes to receive our drinks and then another 15 for the waitress to come back and take our order. Then, we ordered cheese dip which was forgotten about and upon my husband reminding her when being served our meal and informing her we no longer wanted it, she said«oh, ok». No apology for her mistake or anything. I understand they were busy(not by he time we left since every other person that was seated outside with us had already eaten and left) but her lackluster attitude made Cantina Laredo a first and last experience for us. Way too expensive for food that tastes as if it was frozen and crappy service to top it off.

I would rate this restaurant higher if it weren’t for the terrible customer service. It has been an issue every time I’ve been here. Yet I return. Mainly because of the yummy ceviche and margaritas. There will come a point– and it may be today– where the poor customer service outweighs the food and drinks and I don’t return. Today, I waited 10 min to have my table cleaned and 20 minutes before receiving a glass of water. The staff treats the customers like an inconvenience.

One of the better upscale Mexican restaurants in Shreveport/Bossier. The atmosphere is classy Tex-Mex and is located in a strip mall with pretty decent stores(according to the wifey at least). What I like: The chips and salsa are delicious and my wife and I crave it all the time. Their food is also very good quality and tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks and margaritas. Like I was saying before the atmosphere has a clean fresh look and feel. What I don’t like: It’s a little pricey but you do get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend this place!

Upscale environment + presentation with the upscale price to match. Unfortunately, I’ve had much better food out of the side of a truck. The food was not bad, but not great either. The complimentary chips and salsa were fine, with 2 types of salsa provided(spicy and mild). The classic mojito looked very fancy, but it was too sweet, and without enough carbonation. The carnitas tacos I ordered came out fast, maybe too fast. The servings of rice an beans looked small but were a decent amount. The tacos themselves were fine. The flavor was good, with good pork flavor and a sauce with just enough bite. But for $ 14, they should’ve been better than just good. Maybe this place is good for some after-work drinks and to share a plate as finger food? Hmmmmm.

Fine Tex-Mex at it’s best. Quite frankly, Shreveport is lucky to have Cantina Laredo… This chain is arguably the best Mexican food in Dallas and Austin… Think about that for a second. I wanted to mention that Cantina is now offering Brunch on Sundays which includes a complimentary Bloody Maria or Mimosa. I recommend the Crab Cakes Benedict, the Chorizo con Huevos and the Chicken Fajita Omlet. SUNDAYBRUNCH is coming along strong in Shreveport, Louisiana. Glad to see Cantina Laredo joined the party!
