Burger King

This place is supposed to close at 10pm. I pull up to the drive thru at 9:44pm. I give about 30 seconds for someone to greet me. Nothing. I then say hello at least 10 times but nobody responds. By that time there are two other cars behind me. Needless to say we did not get food! Visit was on 3÷10÷15.

They do an admirable job for being a burger king. Fries are always fresh. Staff is better than most other burger kings I’ve been to. Burgers are decent.

This particular location has consistently managed to give my eldest sister food poisoning. I haven’t eaten here since I was poisoned myself. Don’t really care for tasting whopper-​flavored vomit for 3 hours at 1:00am…

If you haven’t noticed, these places are starting to disappear. It won’t be long before you won’t be able to find one around here. You watch. As a fan of this franchise, I find this imminent reality sad and disheartening. Swung by this location today with a handful of coupons, and got 2 whopper juniors (which I noticed have become truly junior-​sized and I also got some fries (which have changed to more tasty steak-​type fries, and 4 chicken nuggets for 50 cents for the bebe (Since her generation will not apparently serve under this Burger Monarchy, as we have. got to get your King on while you can.) And the food was good, but I chased it all down with a heavy dose of sentimentality and a dash of premature nostalgia.

I don’t like burger king whatsoever, but I’ve recently been branching out into the vegetarian world, and was craving a burger. So, I went and had their veggie burger. Let me just say two things:
1. It did not taste like a burger, but it did have the heft, feel, and casual ambiance of one.
2. I would get it again.
The fries were piping hot, but still burger king fries, so not to my taste, and while the burger was a little heavy on the mustard, it still did the trick and fullfilled my craving. Give it a shot veggie lovers. Oh by the way, this thing come with mayo. so you may want to nix that, and I added extra of all the veggies they had to offer, plus cheese to make this as filling as it was.

I agree with Al. That strange smell of mop water is still there along with the slow service. Little to no Saturday lunch crowd and it still took 15 minutes just to place an order.

Ok, the smell is not of flame broiled beef in this place, it’s the smell of dirty mop water, and they are HELLA slow! I only go to Burger King two or three times a year so, not a big deal to me but, if ya like Burger royalty, this isn’t the one
