Applebee’s

Average food here and average service. Nothing exceptional to come back for and nothing too terrible to avoid coming back at all. Pretty much an altogether mediocre experience. The prices were high for the quality of the food and $ 3.00 for a small drink is a bit much don’t you think?
One thing I did notice was the cleanliness of the restaurant was abhorrent. Those screens they have on all the tables now were hideous. They were all caked with dried food and greasy fingerprints. If you’re gonna put one of those things on every table then at least wipe them clean daily, if not after every customer leaves. Also don’t ignore the windowsills.

Greeter was so accommodating and nice. Food was good. Service was a little slow though. We had a server who helped us even though we weren’t his table. Thanks Kydolphus!

The BBQ boneless chicken was excellent. The chicken and shrimp with potatoes was okay. I did not taste any seasoning on the food. The green bean crispers was ok, would have been perfect if they were hot.

This place is hit or miss with both the food and service.

I’ve never really been fond of Applebee’s. But I guess it depends on the location. It’s a nice clean spot, Friendly and attentive waiters. The medium rare steak I ordered was made just how I like it! I would definitely go again to try out their other dishes.

I thought the service was pretty darn good. Our waiter was prompt and courteous. The food was fresh and very well prepared. I was very pleased, I will definitely go back if the opportunity arises. I recommend the Blondie for dessert.

I have one day (evening) of terrible luck due to incompetent management and chefs. The food was delivered an hour later past the time of order. This was our only negative experience in the several years we were a customer there. The food is always great. I’d go back for sure just not on March 7^th again.

I have never been to such an incompetent restaurant. We waited for over an hour and a half for our food. Then another 20 minutes for the check. They were not that busy. Other people that came after us were served. Don’t know if it was racism (we were definitely in the minority), or just incompetence. Food was good enough, but service was pathetic!

We went a little late… but I really expected more. We tried to order the trio appetizer, but I guess it confused the waitress that I didn’t order an additional meal and so the appetizer came out with his meal.
He ordered the sirloin, medium rare, with grilled onions and mushrooms. It came out… no onions no mushrooms. The guy said they were out of grilled onions. Um, what? Slice an onion, toss it on the grill. You’ve still got an hour to go on a Saturday night. Mushrooms came out… about 10 thin slices. He had waited to cut into his steak… and when he did I was amazed to see it was well done. So we flagged down our waitress. Guess she did want to give us time with the appetizer.
Steak came out after 15 minutes… no mushrooms. He said the flavor was good. Except now he was out of beer, and the waitress didn’t offer a new one.
I had to as for the manager because she kept the onions on the receipt. That irked me enough that I complained about the steak too. So the manager comped the steak, but not the onions.
Would not return.

It was around 8 p.m. and we were looking for a place that would be large enough to accommodate a party of at least 10 or more. Couldn’t think of much of anything except for a larger chain restaurant and Applebee’s came to mind, mainly due to proximity of Centuries. This was a welcome place to come eat and get out of the torrential rains at that moment. The servers did a great job in making sure we had everything we needed at the table and didn’t bat an eye at how large of a party we were. The same level of service was there as if we were a smaller party of 4. Kudos to the staff for taking on our group.
