This place was really great. Cessation salad was very good. Raviolis were very good and the service was very personal. I’ll come back again. The place isn’t fancy but the food is good.

First of all, what kind of restaurant doesn’t have high chairs? Secondly, they make the place look nice on their website, but when you walk in it’s an absolute dump. And last, the whole staff looked dumbfounded when my family of 5 walked in. By the looks on their faces you would think a bus load of people walked in to be served and they didn’t have enough food to feed us or something. We left immediately.

We went with our family and were very pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent! The pasta is homemade– the lasagna was fantastic. Unlike another reviewer– we found the foccaccia bread to be light and crunchy. My family and I look forward to returning on our next trip to Show Low. Carrie our waitress was extremely polite and engaging– all in all a nice find!

The service was friendly, but the food was only mediocre. The bread in the bruschetta was cold and soggy, the sauces were tasty but runny, but it was fairly high priced. The guy playing the MIDI clarinet added a smooth jazz surrealism to the evening. It was hard not to laugh when the waitress asked how everything was. My daughter wanted to ask what color Michael Jackson was, because it felt like we had been transported to the ‘70s.

In a journey to experience something other than white trash fast food, Kolachis caught our eye. The business turns into a jazz club at night. The bread was a day old and the oil was something other than olive with the vinegar. Our waitress decided it was time for her lunch so she sat down and ate while we impatiently waited for our one entrée. The bread was not refilled. The atmosphere was clean, pleasant and casual.
