My wife Linda & I just purchased a new car from Richelle @ Horne Auto Center. We had the easiest and best experience we’ve ever had in purchasing a car. They have a great selection and Richelle was So Professional and made us feel at ease and help us select just the right vehicle for us! She is the Best Auto Sales Person we’ve ever dealt with. You won’t regret working with Richelle and rest of the Team there at Horne in Show Low, AZ. If we lived in the Valley or even another State it would still be worth it to make the Drive to Horne Auto Center in Show Low to Buy from Richelle!!!

I took my truck in here on 3÷12÷14 for some recall work on the tail lights — top left hand bulb in the fixture wasn’t working. First thing when I got there, «Cody» checked my battery. «Why are you doing that?» I asked. «Just want to make sure it’s okay,» he replied. «It’s less than 2 years old,» said I, «Leave it alone!» «You’re right,» he claimed, as he combed over the truck looking for ways he could screw me.(I assume.) «Your serpentine belt is worn,» he declared, «and your transmission fluid is dirty…» «Just do the work I came in for!» I retorted, «My personal mechanic handles all that other stuff!» 45 minutes later Cody ran up to me and said the recall work was done, but some of my lights weren’t working properly and they’d have do do a diagnostic test — for about $ 100 — to determine why. I promptly said, «No! Get me out of here, NOW!» When I got home, I found that the top light was now working, but the middle one in the fixture wasn’t. How could this be if the recall work was done correctly? Hmmmmmm Took the truck in to my local car shop for new tires yesterday and had my personal mechanic check everything for me. He told me the serpentine belt still looked new and the transmission fluid was clean — he had just flushed the old stuff last year. And as far as the non-working tail light, he told me that somehow, mysteriously there was a loose wire on the new relay switch which was installed as part of the recall. I would never recommend anyone take their vehicle to this dealership for service. To me, this is the epitome of deceit, and one can only imagine what their sales department is like…

The service manager was quite pleasant when my car was getting tires and even picked me up when I had no ride. The cashier was quite indifferent to me and quite rude when she found I was not being charged the $ 300 she billed me. A call to Andrew Horne on another service issue was never returned. Obviously he doesn’t care about customer service.

I was interested in a used vehicle that they had advertised(a hard to find vehicle or I would never have driven up there) so a friend and I decided to drive up and check it out. Well, Shane, who says he’s been working at Horne for 12 years, tried to tell me that all the cars of this model drive the way that this one did. However, CLEARLY the vehicle had a serious transmission problem. Shane said that he would pull it in directly to service to have it looked at. After we went around the block, we caught him putting it right back where we found it. Later, I got an e-mail trying to sell me a new car. It is my opinion that they keep this car on the lot as a draw so that they can bait and switch.
