Two words: go elsewhere. After seeing Dr. Farbowitz for close to 20 years he recently made a mistake in my eyeglass lens prescription. People make mistakes, right, but it’s how they handle them that matters. In this case, he admitted that he made the mistake, a typo, but wouldn’t make things right with me financially. It took days of wrangling, complaining and making my case to various members of his staff(he wouldn’t meet with me face to face) to get him to capitulate and replace the lenses. Lesson learned: find a doctor who places their patients first, not their pocketbook.
