This place is close to where we live and so we tried it out. There is nothing special for the price. I bought a plate for my son and I to share cause he is 2 and they don’t have small plates. He wanted 2 cups of soup and the first one was free but the next was $ 2.20. I was shocked after paying $ 11 for the food. Then to be told they want more money for a cup of soup.

Not good! My husband stopped by on his way home to pick up dinner. First time here. My rice is totally overcooked! Not what you would expect from a teriyaki place. He said they were busy, so I don’t know what they were thinking. We won’t be coming back. If you can’t get the rice right… nuff said.

I thought I had written before but I have no problem saying how much I love this place! The stir fried veggies are perfect.

Friendly and delicious! We always get take out from here, and even though she says ten minutes it’s usually ready in seven. The food is always fresh and hot, nicely seasoned and they have great fried rice(which you can substitute for two dollars on any meal). The to go food comes with steamed veggies, mostly cabbage but i prefer that, and the in house food comes with a little salad. The décor is clean and cute with murals of scenic tulip fields and waterfalls, and they always play classical music, very calm and soothing compared to annoying pop music. Every dish comes with a soda and miso soup. Their egg rolls are to amazing too, big with lots of filling. The meat in the teriyaki is not cheap or fatty like some places and is grilled properly. I usually get the beef and broccoli which is made with a great home made sauce and the meat is also high quality as well. All in all a great little neighborhood joint, and a great place to support local business.

Got lunch here. Place is clean, service is fast but the food was bit below average teriyaki. They offer one free soda drink per order/dish and you can get Miso soup too. Miso soup — below average, too watery Got Beef Yakisoba — average, beef tasted funky didn’t finish was cautious. Chicken Yakisoba — average, nothing special. Chicken/Beef combo with rice — didn’t eat the beef(tasted funky as well) chicken tasted average. Would not go back.

I have eaten here many times, and have liked it, and never have had a complaint. My rating before my recent experience would be 4 or 5 stars. Recent experience — I am a tow truck driver and badly needed to use the restroom to pee as I had been on the road for awhile busy. My hands were also in need to be washed of grease, dirt, and germs. Hungry, I came here again looking forward to my good meal. I entered, and walked towards the restroom, just like I do at Arby’s, McDonalds, Subway, or any other teriyaki joint. The lady headed me off at the pass and said I could not use restroom unless I ordered. I said I was going to order and eat, but badly needed the restroom. She again refused to let me unless I ordered first. I couldn’t believe it, as she has seen me eat here many times and I was in my work uniform and clean cut. I ordered my $ 8 meal, payed her with a ten dollar bill, told her to keep the change, and her food and walked out with ten less dollars then I had going in. I walked next door to Subway before peeing my pants, went into the restroom(without an employee chasing me down), washed my hands, and ordered a good sandwich. I hope that the lady buys toilet paper and pays her water bill that is SOIMPORTANTTOHER with my $ 10, because the over $ 100 that I have spent here in the past, will not happen again in the future. Hope it was worth it ma’am. Great business decision !

Have had food from here twice, and found it delicious both times. Tonight was the spicy chicken, my husband had the garlic chicken — we were both very happy with the quality and size of the portions. We had gyozas on the side, which were fantastic. I hear folk complaining that it’s just one scoop of rice — but it’s a BIG scoop! And the portion of meat was very generous. Rice is cheap — GIVEMETHEMEAT! It was clean, tender and good quality — no nasty gristly bits, or mysterious odds and ends. There’s no ambiance to speak of — a few dusty fake flower arrangements hanging on the wall, and paintings you might find in your granny’s bathroom, but we were there for take-out and didn’t care. We also didn’t know it came with miso soup — nobody told us when we were there and there’s no sign saying so, but I’m still giving five stars because the food was that good. We ordered three entrees all together and two sides and spent $ 39. Perhaps a tad pricey, but again, we didn’t care — it was delicious and it was enough for dinner tomorrow too!

It’s your typical teriyaki food. What I do like is that meals include both soup and drink. I generally call my order in a head of time and they’re pretty reliable about having it ready by the time I arrange to pick it up.

I’ve been eating here for about 5 years. The food is consistently good, not superb but quite good. Standard teriyaki fare. The staff is friendly enough. Eat here, get the broccoli beef. About as fast as McDonald’s, better, healthier, only 2 bucks more than a value meal.

Worst customer service EVER& the sad part is — it was my first eating there!!! If I could I would give them NOSTARS!!! Like every other teriyaki spot you order, pay up front, & wait. The cashier Korean lady who was taking my order was so rude! Don’t get me wrong I like how you get a free drink with your meal but she was super rude! I asked the lady If I could get ice with my drink & she answered«we have no ice» Really now? I have never heard or even know a restaurant that doesn’t have Ice or an Ice machine in the kitchen! Ugh! Makes me so mad but the food was okay. I’m use to having TWO scoops of rice, but this place only one.

This place was shockingly average. Absolutely nothing stood out. The miso was bland(but free) and the teriyaki was way overly sweet. The only thing that was not exactly average was that the dressing on the salad looked exactly… EXACTLY like jism. I mean, same consistency and everything. I’m not saying to avoid the place, I’m just saying it’s mediocre as all get out.

I do love me some teriyaki. This place is spot on 3-stars. Just OK. Not great, not shit. Just OK. If you want to pay like 7 bucks for some teriyaki and not feel like you were explicitly robbed, eat here. But really, you could probably do better. Are you that hungry? Nah, these are nice people and deserve to stay in business. Eat here. Or not.

Our new go-to for teriyaki! Prices are decent and meat, rice, and other ingredients are tender and edible! TIP: –Teriyaki plates come with free soda and soup, both of which you have to get yourself. The first time I came here, nobody told me about this special so make sure to ask! –They are in the same parking lot and located near the Rite Aid.

Awesome for Bubble tea and my daughter got me hooked. Went back on Valentine’s Day for Dinner take out and I was impressed. I recommend this terriyaki place for both bubble tea and food.

Parking: Strip mall Ambiance: Cheezy strip mall teriyaki joint — a little on the small side — only a few tiny tables. Service: The lady up front was nice — didn’t have much interaction though The food: So, slightly overpriced at about $ 8 for regular chicken teriyaki, but you do get to pick out a can of pop. The chicken was grilled well, didn’t come with a lot of rice — and their to-go teriyaki sauce was… well, I think they must have used the juices from the meat or something, but it wasn’t teriyaki sauce. And you don’t get the regular salad — it comes with sauteed cabbage which actually was a nice change. It’s funny — it felt like they were cutting costs with the skimpy rice portions and sauce, but then they give a good portion of chicken and they throw in the pop for free. I don’t get it, but whatever. Recommendation: Good place to go in a pinch.

At first I thought it was expensive, then I realized you get free miso soup and a soda with your meal. Still though when I got the food I then realized the soup and soda really are free add ons cause the food is crazy good. Totally worth my $ 9. Love it every time I go. I will say tho every time I walk in I’m annoyed that it’s so boring inside. Its like that hospital/school/community center flooring and walls that most teriyaki places have. But the food is too good to be served in a place that looks this way. You could do anything.

I adore good teriyaki. Visa vie, concordantly, ergo, so… I adore Teriyaki Town. Had the chicken and beef teriyaki. Chicken was seasoned and grilled well, left all the juices and succulent-ness without the rubbery or tough texture. The beef was most delish. Tender cuts of beef that made each bite like being hugged by the flavor fairy. Good stuff. Don’t change. Or else.

First time visiting Teriyaki Town as I was hankering for some teriyaki and my friend gave good reviews about the food. I arrived around 1:30pm, still time to get the lunch specials(teriyaki or spicy chicken that comes with rice, veggies, miso soup, and a can of soda). I ordered the teriyaki chicken lunch special and the teriyaki beef off of the main menu board to try out and give a better review. That’s my style, I order for two if I’m new to a place.(Someone should seriously pay me to eat and give reviews!) I didn’t call in my order, which you can do, but I got prompt service for my order as there was no line. I waited 5 – 7 minutes from placing my orders to walking out the door with my orders. You ladle out your own miso soup(very basic and very good!) and choose your can of soda from the cooler. I was told soda comes with the meals. My total came to around $ 16.50 for my lunch special and my regular menu order. I’m not sure if the regular menu orders come with miso soup, but I only took one serving with my lunch special. It’s a pretty good deal considering everything you get. My to-go orders came with steamed veggies that were very tasty. Tasted as if vinegar or sesame oil was added to the water, or both, I don’t know at all but it was tasty and perfectly steamed to the point where the veggies were soft but still had crunch. The size of my order seemed smaller than what I was used to getting at other teriyaki places but that was not a bad thing. I think super-sized meals have become a way of eating and to actually get a meal with appropriate portions was refreshing to see. Please do not get me wrong, I LOVE super-sized portions because that means it will last me more than one meal. :) There is plenty of meat — no skimping. The beef was amazing! I’m returning for that meal alone because it was so filling and the meat so tasty, I love they marinade they have on the beef. The chicken teriyaki was also tasty and I can see why it’s popular, and they don’t drown your food in the sauce. You get an extra cup of sauce with each to go order, so you choose how much you want on your rice and meat. Next visit will be the spicy chicken on the lunch special and the beef again, we’ll see. I might dine in next time, too. It’s a cozy restaurant and quiet and staff are pretty friendly. I’ll try to upload pics. Oh yeah, plenty of parking in the strip mall area. It’s across the way from Rite Aid, a FedEx Express drop nearby, Subway, Thriftway, Redbox by the Shell station, UPS, 24 Hour Fitness, etc. Good location, good service, and good food.

I mainly came here to nix my bubble tea craving. I ordered the taro flavor with tapioca. The flavor was made from the powdery mix stuff and it was blended. Tapioca balls were plentiful however they were hard and frozen. It was definitely a pain to get them to come up the straw. Same thing with the pineapple flavor my husband ordered. The bento box is pretty big and came with a good mix of food. I ordered the fried rice plate and it’s nothing to toot a horn about. It’s seasoned with salt and pepper then fried in some oil with peas and carrots. I’ve had better rice elsewhere. The egg roll and fried gyoza were the best part. The bill came out to $ 30 for two entrees and two bubble teas. This didn’t seem right, then I thought of my «free» soda and miso broth… then it made sense. I don’t know if there will be a next time for dinner… but if that bubble tea craving hits hard and I don’t want to drive across town I’ll consider this place.
