Olive’s Country Store & Cafe

Love this place! Perfect stop for food and a stretch on that long road trip down 28. Delicious breakfast, hot & cold sandwiches, homemade food, and deli conveniences for a great price. You can sit inside or out or just grab your food to go. Someone is always at the griddle ready to make you something delicious. Services is super friendly, sarcastic and fun. It’s a family there for sure. If you don’t have a sense of humor then you probably won’t get it. Far more than a tablespoon on my giant Tuna Melt that I’m enjoying right now, that’s for sure!

This store is for convenience only. It is dirty, food items on the shelves are dusty and often outdated & extremely overpriced. Gas too is .30 to .40 higher that Citgo right across the road. To add insult to injury the owners & employees are rude. In 10+ years I have never heard a thank you from any person taking my money at the register. Not what you look for living local & trying to support a local business.

Good place to grab a quick breakfast sandwich, top up the gas and get a snack for the road. It’s really your local catch-​all shop for a little bit of everything: food, drinks, fishing gear, batteries, random toys. Used to go all the time, and enjoyed their egg sandwiches on a roll. You can be in and out with a warm breakfast and coffee in 10 minutes. Have also had lunch here (there’s a very empty and forlorn looking sit-​down area attached), but don’t remember the cold cut deli sandwiches being very good.

i will avoid going to olive’s at any cost. standard average deli food but with an attitude. my last experience there i purchased a somewhat overpriced chicken salad sandwich on a hard roll. went out to my truck to eat my lunch and much to my surprise there was about one tablespoon of chicken salad on my roll. so after having spent too much money for it i went back in and politely pointed out that there was barely any substance to my sandwich. the reply i received from the nasty woman behind the counter was «yeah so » Yeah so, I’ll never come back thank you. Go to the Hobo Deli or Reservior Deli instead this place sucks .
stupidly in an act of desperation for a cup of coffee i stopped in again. worst cup of brown water i’ve ever had anywhere. i should have tried the citgo across the street, would have been better. this place sucks stay away.
