Amazing people so caring and sweet. Awesome, fresh food, great prices. So happy to have a legitimate Mexican food restaurant around here yay!

This place is proof of how far great customer service can go. Nicest most caring people you can get. Great food and great atmosphere. Its just ashame of the horrible down its in. But if you can get through the slums of mastic/​shirley youll love it.

and was pleasantly surprised. They offered a nice $ 8.95 lunch menu and my friends and I sat down. The woman who was serving us was so sweet, it kind of felt like we were dining in her and her sons (the chef) home. The menu was pretty standard for a mexican restaurant. I got a taco and a cheese enchilada accompanied by rice and beans. The beans were some of the best beans I have ever had. The cheese on top was the perfect crust and tasted amazing! The taco meat was super tasty, but a little greasy. I can’t wait to go back, this place was great.

Taco loco could definitely use some work only thing going for it is the food but that alone isn’t going to help. The sizzling steak fajitas was delicious but the service and overall experience was awful especially the pricing for the food too much for the the portion I got and what the meal was its self.

Food was good, but the portion size was not. For the price of things you would think you would be getting a good portion of food. My quesadilla looked like 2 chicken tacos. Don’t think I will be going there again.

Where to begin with this place… The place itself is dirty. I had a used fork on my table with sour cream crusted to it. The sangria is too sweet and looks like grapefruit juice the guy literally wiped the sangria glasses out with a towel that was hanging out of the back side of his pocket. Food itself was authentic but who knows how clean the kitchen is judging by the dining area. Won’t come back.

I’m all about supporting local business so I was excited to try taco loco since I love Mexican food. The customer service is amazing, which for me is huge. They are so nice and you can tell they put a lot of care into preparing their food. They want you to return. The offered me chips and salsa while I waited for my food, or a beverage the last time I was here. The place is clean. Most importantly the food is really good. I’ve got been there 3 times so far and I’ve had, tacos, enchiladas, burrito and a soup. All were delicious. I highly recommend!

Spent a good amount of money this evening and the food that came out of this establishment was terrible. The order was wrong and the food itself was just sloppy and did not taste well. I ate half a taco that came with our $ 40+ order and tried a bit of the steak dish we ordered as well. We ended up throwing the rest of it out.
I will not be revisiting this restaurant, I advise others to go elsewhere as well.

Very disappointed with my experience. Walked in & a woman said hello then went into kitchen. I looked over menu then waited… & waited. She comes back out & I said I was ready to order while standing at the counter. She said ok then phone rang. She answered it & went back into kitchen. & I waited & waited again. She comes back out with chips & salsa. I told her I was ordering to go. She apologized. Goes back into kitchen. & guess what I did again. Waited & waited & then walked out & ate somewhere else. I private messaged Taco Loco on their Facebook page days ago & no response so now I’ll make my experience public.

I’m not into review writing but in this case I’ll make an exception. As a Mexican food lover I’ve been saying I needed to try this place for months. Tonight I stopped in to grab a takeout menu. I went to my next destination and called home. We decided Mexican for dinner it is and after leaving the store I turned around and headed back. That was THE best decision I’ve made in a very long time! From the minute you walk in, Henry and Maria make you feel like you’re having dinner at a friends house, right down to Henry explaining some dishes to my 77 year old mom who knows Nada about Mexican food. He even brought a sample of their Tampiquena sauce for her to try since her biggest concern is that something will be too spicy. In the end we settled on the sizzling steak fajitas after a queso con chorizo appetizer. Omg… I can honestly say I haven’t had a better meal in a very, very long time! The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it. My mom even ate all her refried beans which is a miracle since she usually calls them some unflattering name of sorts and won’t let them touch her lips! The only suggestion I’d make would be something to drink that’s not in a can or bottle, but that’s my personal feeling as a non-​sweetened beverage drinker. But, if going back means sucking down a Snapple, I’ll gladly do so! Go. Eat there. Like now! Seriously!!!

Such great food! We’ve gotten takeout from there and tonight just dined in. The food is delicious and fresh, and the owners are so personable and friendly! Same family as El Mariachi (Mexican restaurant that used to be in coram area). Highly recommend the queso con chorizo and sangria!

Took my husband here who is difficult to please when it comes to food and he loved it. He had beef tacos and the chicken wings. I had the chipolte shrimp and chicken empanadas. The refried beans are the best.

I stopped in looking for a quick bit of lunch. You know, a burrito to go and maybe a lime Jarritos. Unfortunately the menu is a bit vague, and after ordering what i thought was a simple chicken burrito i was quizzed as to weather i wanted the 3 mini burritos or the 1 large. I asked for the large, then waited 20 minutes for my meal, which was served on a plate with mole sauce on top. While the food tasted okay, i prefer my mexican chicken grilled, this was not… and the sauce on top is off putting. Also, i had to ask for hot sauce, which was not very hot or flavorful. The real kicker was the $ 32 bill for 2 burritos and 2 drinks.
I won’t be going back.

Stopped by once the other day. I got a combo plate #5 it’s was good. Not too many places around here that do Mexican takeout. I hope they stick around because I live around the corner and this area only has fast food and I hate fast food

This place is the real deal. I had the shrimp tacos, can’t wait to come back and have the plantains. The staff is really nice and quick to help.

This place is phenomenal. The food is top notch at such a reasonable price. The best part about this place are the people. The staff is amazing. Such friendly and hospitable people. These are the type of people you want owning/​running a restaurant. Love this place! Make sure you go!
