If you are going to Shipshewana and want to try something different than a hotel room, get a nice cabin in the trees. They have rustic and deluxe, we prefer deluxe. It has two beds, mini fridge, microwave, but no drawers or closet. Had a nice shower, no tub, sink was outside the bathroom.
You can sit out on your porch swing after the stores close and relax for the next day of shopping. No coffee maker in cabin, but we knew this and brought our own. There is coffee in the office and some sort of continental breakfast, but we did not use it. It is also a campground. So you can stay in cabins or camper. Basically nothing is open on Sundays
