I did a 1 day membership here, which was $ 15. They also do weekly memberships. It’s nothing fancy, but it seems to have all the necessary equipment to keep up with your workout schedule while on vacation. It’s also fairly convenient, being located right in the middle of the island, just before the bridge. There’s another gym on the island that does 1 day memberships, but it was significantly more expensive. If you’re really looking for a place to workout on the island, I’d give this place a try.

I work out here each time I’m in LBI. The gym itself is sufficient. Old machines and weights, but a good variety. This summer, they raised the weekly rate to $ 50. I paid due to the lack of options. On what I thought was my last day, I came for my final workout and, as I was warming up, I was approached by the desk lady who told me that my week had expired the day prior. I explained that I didn’t have my wallet and asked if she could charge the card that I used for the one week membership. She said they couldn’t and that, if I was not able to pay the $ 12 daily rate, I would have to leave. I left, humiliated. I have purchased the weekly membership about 6 – 8 times over the past few years and am never going to make that mistake again. I guess when you are one of very few gyms on the island, you can do whatever you like to your customers. Lesson learned.

This gym isn’t fancy but it has everything you need, is very reasonably priced and the people who work there are incredibly nice.
