Sherwood Old Town Dental

My family loves going to see Dr. Huyssoon. The front office is always so nice and helpful. Only real dentist I really look forward to going to. Clean office and friendly staff. Would totally recommend them!

Pros: The environment in this office is very clean and organized, and the waiting room is very comfortable and welcoming. Both Marta and Karen who can be at the front are amazing and friendly when you arrive. They make waiting for your appointment not as bad. The hygienist, Jessica and Allison, are amazing at there jobs and also friendly and welcoming. Lastly, Ina and Ellie are great dental assistants. These staff members are amazing people who are great at their jobs and make getting your teeth cleaned more fun than it actually is.

Cons: The company can be a little ableist because of their lack of understanding of what mental illnesses and disabilities are. This comes off as disrespectful, and I do not believe that is their intention. By supporting this business as it is now, one is agreeing to the notion that those with disabilities are not fully human and have less value. I believe by educating oneself on disabilities and ableism this company would have five stars from me. This business has a lot of good qualities, but I believe providing a seminar on interrupting oppression would be very beneficial for this business and their patients.

Great staff– from Dr. Huyssoon to the hygienist, assistant & receptionist! I am a dental-​phobe and they put me at ease so that dental procedures are.(almost) enjoyable.
